Yeah, I knew that would happen with the egg... you guys saw the Jawbreaker ep of Mythbusters right? And heard about superheating water then touching it with a spoon? Boom!
I wish you had some nixie tubes to send in, too. That'd be cool!
That last one. That Smile Bulb was fucking awesome.
What would happen if you put matches, and lemons in the same microwave? This just crossed my mind after rewatching it, for third time in a row.
That was possibly the coolest thing I have seen that was totally scientific in ages. To join the entourage of people suggesting stuff, champagne, because microwaves need to be fancy too. Calumon: What if you microwaved a smaller microwave that was also on? :D
Absolutely awesome episode guys loved every second of it! The high point for me was the 'smile' light bulb, it just looked amazing.
I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. Thank you, LRR!
Oh god, I lost it at "SMILF". I've always loved your microwave videos.
BTW, I found Kathleen's squeaks whenever anything went bang to be delightfully entertaining.
Wagon Wheel? Don't they know a Moon Pie when they see one? ;-)
I loved the 'smile' lightbulb. Can anyone make an animated gif of the cool effects it made?
Ah, that was brilliant, this needs to become a daily drop kind of thing!
the marshmallow and the soap microwaving reminded me of that movie The Stuff.
Damn it Calumon suggested what I was going to suggest.
For the love of all that is awesome, RENT THE SLOW-MOTION CAMERA FROM DAILY DROP NEXT TIME YOU DO THIS.
I like how Graham cleverly held the soda can so we couldn't see it was Coca-Cola. Also, the bottle's expansion looks vaguely pornographic, like an O'Keefe orchid. Also also, should've Paul flag himself for a bad pun?
I'm pretty sure they own that.
YES YES YES! One of the best LRRs ever! I tensed up for the egg in the marshmallows, just waiting for the inevitable.
They don't own it. I recall them saying on a LRRcast that it cost them a small fortune to even rent it for 10 or so days, and they could only get a low end one.
Huh, so that's how candy floss is made, SOAP!
Don't try this at home... But you can try it at the Moonbase!
So, microwaveception? To be framk, it would probably explode.
That made me happy. | |
They should have done the optical discs in a darker environment... the daylight was flooding out all the cool sparks you get when microwaving an optical disc, which is the best part. Also, how did Graham travel back in time to get the "before" sample of the cola bottle?
The soap is the most frightening thing I have ever seen
I... I cook food in those things.
1:20 = The most fun you can have with Brink.
I can't believe how much fun I had watching this.
man this takes me back haha, good job guys
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Qp6CfPoDAU&t=1m38s be scared.
You guys should make one of these like once a year
I'm absolutely convinced now. Getting a Microwave and a bunch of random stuff will ensure that you are never bored now. ... I just need to find stuff that I'm sure won't blow it up now. Thanks, LRR!
This really needs to be its own series. Like daily drop was...
This just makes me miss "Is it a good idea to microwave this?" on youtube, shame that series had to end, although this was much more efficient and professional, though I'm sure you have better resources to work with
How about a desktop PC speaker? A USB flash drive? An Xbox/PS game controller?

Egg... Grenades? I see military applications!!
