Upskirt

Poor time to say that, haha.

Ummmm... ok? I'm fast losing interest in this story arc to be honest.

The title made me smile, but seriously, I want this arc to end quickly, but with closure. No offence meant, it just seems to be dragging a little.

... Okay... That was uhhh... that was pointless, wasn't it? At least we now know he's real, because how else could she fall out the window, and be stopped in mid-air? He's gotta be a real person, no doubt about it.

Yes, stop helping.
Let go and kill her and this story arc.

Is this going anywhere? At all? It's paced slower than a Dragon Ball Z fight.

"As long as I have your attention, we might as well discuss a few things..."
Either that or he's correcting the blood flow to her brain.

...I officially have no idea where this is going.

Seriously, Grey you're gonna have to end this on a high note or else you're gonna have a lot of frustrated people by the end of this grumbling and speculating on all the other jokes you could've made on games/game journalism this year.

Well that's a way to sober someone up fast as shit huh?

I think I'm with the majority here when I say I hope theres a good pay-off to this arc, it is going a bit Bleach-esq right now.

Also, I do believe I was promised an upskirt shot. Disappointed.

Not sure what all the complaints are about - I like this story arc.

The question I have is : Which of the two of them is the crazier?

[The correct answer is they are both clearly batshit bananas, and even thinking about comparing them will result in you losing your own sanity]

I think it's time to consider more than on page at a time of this. It's very well paced when you read it all at once, the kind of thing more suited to a book than a cartoon strip. So while I like this and the writing is sharp and the drawings are great and the wit is there, it very much is suffering from being on the "webcomic" platform.

You probably know this and are gritting your teeth right now in painful anticipation of this arc that you probably finished months ago finishing soon, though. Especially with these comments. Dear god, I hope you make it to the end without going insane, guys.

"What are you doing?!"

"Committing a class 1 felony! I mean, helping!"

Is... the next issue going to be him saying something like "Once you've experienced the threat of death, you can live your life to the full!" or something cliche like that?

Really haven't liked this arc. Not a great story to begin with, and regardless of Erin's (only lately) unfunny quips in-between the story, I get the feeling you want us to take this seriously. Really want it to end, quick. You've missed the opportunity to make jokes about stuff like the Tomb Raider trailer, E3, Habbo Hotel and more because it's dragged on for so long.

People keep saying they're getting tired of this arc? I think it's getting better and better. Go figure.

I'm not sure why people act surprised. The fact that he was going to push her and catch her at the very last moment, then explain his reasoning behind it (next issue) was so ridiculously obvious. They should just hurry and finish this arc.

The main problem with this arc is we are being fed one tiny portion of the plot per strip made worse by this particular outcome being terribly predictable. Last couple of weeks were not so bad but an artist making a whole strip conveying basically nothing is not good for anybody. especially the artist. This is one of those few cases where a comic would be improved by more text since this is officially a story based arc and not pure comedy save the odd quip.

@9thRequiem:

Hear, Hear. I thought I was the only one that was enjoying a lot this story.

I am quite enjoying this arc but I wish it was moving a bit faster. Even just one extra strip a week would be a nice quickening of pace.

Wow, that guy is a lunatic.

I kind of agree and disagree with some people here, while I do not dislike this story arc because I am really enjoying it, I do think it's going a bit slow. It feels like I'm reading a comic book but only reading one page a week.

The incredible strength needed to one hand grab a falling person and then to make a smartass response...is this a dream?

I guess nobody sees him dangling a woman out of a window. Either that or this is the same apartment building that jacko dangled his kid out of, they're just used to it.

But anyway...explanation, please. Soon.

And please, god don't let it be that she falls for him after being dangled out of a window. You're better than that kind of strange romcom character logic.

QFT. Enoughs enough. Either kill her off and add a new character to fallow (or focus on one of the others), have her hit the ground and wake up in the hospital bed, realizing it was all a dream, or... something...

That's one long arm he's got there

So called it.

Nile McMorrow:
I call that he'll grab her by the ankles and hang her out the window. I've seen it done before.

In the last panel, he looks like he has inspector gadget extendo arms.

I wish they'd cut to the chase though. Now I have to wait for yet another issue to see where this is going.

rosac:
The title made me smile

The fact that her skirt defies gravity, in light of the title, made me smile.

DVS BSTrD:
"As long as I have your attention, we might as well discuss a few things..."

"Oh God! Drop me! Drop me!"

Either that or he's correcting the blood flow to her brain.

I'd me surprised if it wasn't atrophied at this point. >.>

It IS kinda dragging.

Plus, I think people only like head trauma victims when they're comic and funny.

Doclector:

There were a lot of trees in the view last time. It's possible the area isn't populated enough, especially since she hasn't been dangling long.

I just wonder how his grip is so awesome.

I'm still enjoying the comic but you're leaning dangerously into cad comic crap and most know how that went. Get back with the funny please.

I am interested in seeming why he thought this was a good idea.

Also, while I still hope Erin "gets her shit together", as they say, her face is priceless! Ha!

p.s. Is that the pooping hobo down there?

I want to know who the guy in the cape is running from the pond in the last panel.

Sparrow:

Something like that. It's just another shot at explaining how bad Erin has it and that she's throwing herself into shitty situations all the time. Now he'll convince her, or try to, that she has something to live for.

Who knows, maybe it'll get better.

Looks like he follows the K-Pax school of psychoanalysis.

Since everyone's complaining I'll add I have no problem with the duration of this storyline. I think the pace is faster than Gunnnerkrigg Court.

It's been said about 50 times in this thread, but I have to say this arc is seriously confusing and not funny. I don't get what the message is, whether we are supposed to be taking it seriously or laughing. And to top it off, it's taking too long.

We need a reboot of this franchise.
