The right development team in the wrong place can make all the difffference in the world.
Still looks great! Slight correction: Harvey Smith wasn't a designer on Deadly Shadows (or any Thief game). That was RANDY Smith.
Harvey Smith was the creative director of Invisible War and lead designer on Deus Ex though.
Looks pretty darn magical to me.
I like the concept of this game's mechanics, I just hope they aren't buggy or shoddily executed.
