Not being common doesn't exclude her from eligibility, I would think. The Buffy series contributed massively to Joss Whedon's career, and in some ways is responsible for some of the great stuff we love today like The Avengers and Firefly. Buffy is also neat because she's an inversion of the "dumb cheerleader" archetype, combining that, The Final Girl, and regular super hero badassery. You should look it up :) | |
