As was explained in Monday's episode, Kathleen is not allowed to get a Moonbase cat because they aren't there for days at a time and the kitty would die. We only see cats in Loading Time when they go "on location" to their own homes where the cats live.

I thought the yellow pants were quite flattering and attractive.
