Awh man I must buy a pc this year I must not be tempted to buy a PS4 just for this arrrrgh it's going to be tough this looks so good.

Edit i just found out it's on PS3 yes!!!

Coming out for PS3 they better hope it doesn't get delayed. People buying a PS4 not getting a decent driving sim at launch aren't going to be happy, as GT was usually the benchmark for Sony's finest technology. Which was the case with PS3, man did that game come late. This was the only generation which received only one GT game, right? (unless you count Prologue, which many people don't). And this was a pretty damn long generation too. I hope they make the game a bit less online oriented and make some cars easier to get...grinding for F1 cars and checking daily the used car market for cars that never appear gets pretty damn boring, damn quick.

Never could get into this series though I admire its dedication to realism.

GT5 made us wait so long and it was such a disappointment for me, I'm not gonna hold my breath for this one.

So long as they executed the guy who did GT5's GUI I think I'll be happy.

I mean come on, it took a whole minute to load some menus - and even longer for the main one.

Gran Turiso 5 took 5 years to develop and was supposed to come out, in various guises, from 2006 onwards. Excuse me whilst i hold my breath.

While I absolutely love the realism of the driving model, to the point where they've had real time race-a-real-driver around a real track in the same car and the lap times were only hundredths of seconds apart, I *REALLY* hope they actually put a little bit of effort in the AI. It was so abysmal in GT5 that they couldn't even perform grid-starts, which is why GT5 only featured rolling-starts.

Never realised why they randomly all changed to rolling starts after a random patch, but that would make sense. I'm not a huge racing sim fan so GT5 will be all that I need, it's odd that i got back into it just a few weeks before this announcement.
