Nearly two years later, this article gets a comment? *salute* Good to know I'm not the only one; or wasn't. This was gospel truth of me, in 2006. Now, I wish I could feel the old fear again.

Why, have you managed Bioshock ;-?

I empathize. Illusions are more delectable than the real thing. I treasure them in the safe knowledge I will not have to experience real horror (hopefully), and also not lose my ability to be shocked by reality.
