It's basically a documentary using actual text and accounts of the event to recreate playing the two killers. The creator was a troubled teen himself and said he felt a lot of spiritual catharsis by getting people to understand what it was like, what they were thinking, and to not just blow it off with labels. The media naturally just assumed it was garbage and tasteless. Watch the trailer and decide for yourself.
