Demanding proof of course. If he was legit, i'd have not used the bridge and crossed somewhere else. Paying to cross a river, ridiculous! |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2131 Joined: 23 Dec 2007 | Personally i would of payed him then picked his pocket. With interest of course time is money and he wasted mine. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2131 Joined: 23 Dec 2007 | Wait actually if someone told me to pay to cross a bridge i would jump off it and swim accross unless it was 50p and it crossed from one cliff to another in which case i would spit in his face and climb down one side and climb back up the other. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2273 Joined: 13 Sep 2007 | Hey! I chose the evil option cause' it seemed most logical in that instance! What's logical about burning bridges behind you? |

Copy Clerk Posts: 52 Joined: 21 Jun 2008 | I'm just choosing the options that i'd actually do, and i like to think im good person. If i come out as an evil son of a bitch maybe ill at least get a "Don't kid yourself, your the biggest jackass" badge. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1134 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | The Questions are vague, perhaps you only burnt the bridge because you were in a hurry, fleeing angry villagers from the town you burnt down before reaching the bridge? Who knows. Either way i demanded his proof, he ran like a sissy bitch, if i see him again, i'll have his fingers... So far i've not done too badly, i was gonna do what my original Fable character would've done, but then again, he would've just burnt the bridge... So i've just done what sounds most appealing to myself. |

The sudden absence of a bridge could buy you some time. Or perhaps you're heaviy invested in stone construction, and you're just generating business. |

I ask him "Why should I pay?". He coudn't handle my Bond Gadgets. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1550 Joined: 10 Sep 2008 | um, I think this question was a little buggy, I answered: Redouble your efforts to be an even better hero, one worthy of a better title. and I got this: Shrug it off. Who cares what others call you? that sound like it belongs with the neutral question, or am I wrong? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4269 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | With a pile of corpses in my wake, villagers soon learn to avoid me at all costs. I never hear the word "Chickenplucker" again. Also I'm pretty sure the neutral question is the answer for the good guy question, and the answer of the good guy question (judging by Darkstone's post) is what the the answer to the middle question should be. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2582 Joined: 6 Jun 2008 | "Chickenplucker? No, I'm arm plucker *takes persons arm* aka money plucker." *takes money and moves to the next guy* I don't see why I shouldn't level the entire village on the off chance someone has heard of that nickname. |
Beat Writer Posts: 166 Joined: 2 Apr 2008 | no for once i tried neutral and got "Townsfolk continue to call you "Chickenplucker," but treat you no differently than they ever did." now i know never to do that again completely evil from now on for such a shitty response |
On the Record Posts: 6350 Joined: 24 Apr 2008 | For good i got. "You shrug it off, who cares what others think?" But the thing is... I DO CARE! The Ultra Joe Is Not Accustomed To Playing Nice... He Feels Himself Becoming... Eviljoe... |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4269 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | I think the options are still a bit muddled. What Ultrajoe (and earlier on darkstone) got seems to what should be the answer to the neutral option. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2895 Joined: 4 Oct 2008 | Today I murdered and slaughtered everyone who called me 'Chickenplucker'. That'll teach the bastards not to mess with me! (Suddenly The_Oracle's eyes become pools of darkness.....for he has now become....Evil_Oracle...) |

*bows* Thank you, thank you, you're too kind. By the way, I LOVE Austin Powers. I also, by the way, forged a landscape of death, wreaking upon those who would insult me the punishment they deserve. I had hoped it would tell me what they all call me now. Since it didn't, I shall fashion myself a new monacre. Hmmmm.... let me see..... Aha! I am Verne Troyer, wielder of the baby's arm holding an apple! All fear the apple-holding baby arm. AHAHAHAHAHAHA! User was put on probation for: You laugh, you lose.. (3 days) |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2273 Joined: 13 Sep 2007 | Y'know, despite what you guys say, it does actually make sense. I chose the good option this time. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 52 Joined: 21 Jun 2008 | hmm..... I've chosen the good answer twice..... the chances of me getting my ridiculously long yet totally awesome badge are getting slim...... but theres still hope! I mean who dosent want a "Don't kid yourself, you're the biggest jackass badge"? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1664 Joined: 31 Mar 2008 | Working off of the pretense that everyone here effectively doesn't have a soul, I'm going to pick all good options. In theory, no one will have the nice and shiny "good" forum badge because your all |
Anonymous Source Posts: 4 Joined: 1 Oct 2008 | So about the most recent one. Bieng called ChickenPlucker. I would most likely do what i did in fable 1. Kill every single person that mutters the name (at the time i didnt know you had to buy a title). Id like to be a good hero..... but if you disrespect me il kick your ass. |
Beat Writer Posts: 166 Joined: 2 Apr 2008 | i think comparing the responses between neutral and good they both fit in their own as the middle you want to be referred to as the doomslayer while as a good guy you turn the other cheek and not care what others call you, no pride being bruised |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1550 Joined: 10 Sep 2008 | tch, I help the guy get his money back and no reward, not even a proper thank you, that guy better watch out the next time I see him. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2582 Joined: 6 Jun 2008 | Ah, murdering someone looking for his money to take whatever else he has on him. I love this game. I never understood these toll bandits who ask for some of your money or else they'll kill you, why do that when you can kill them and take all of their money and valuables? That way you leave no witnesses. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4269 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | I took him back to the spot and stole everything he had. Even his boots. |

I kicked his ass and stole his money. However, I don't like that it made me burn down the bridge. I wouldn't have done that. I need that bridge.
