On the Record Posts: 5970 Joined: 7 Feb 2008 | "...and yet the armidillo" was by far my favorite line. I sure as hell hope you guys are planning on doing some follow ups. That was awesome sauce and worthy of MST3K. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3617 Joined: 7 Aug 2008 | "I miss Bernie, he could have surrounded the hell out of that guy..." If they make this a weekly feature, it would be on parr with ZP. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2365 Joined: 1 Aug 2008 | Wow I normally hate videos like this, but that was awesome. So many lines just made me crack up, hopefully this continues. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2050 Joined: 14 Oct 2008 | Only ZP has ever made me laugh that much before- Well done boys , the lads at the escapist had their work cut out deciding between you and arcadccalpse |

I second that. Those lines were hilarious. |

Bernie was a legend in his own right, he could surround anything, and everything. |

I agree. They should have some sort of competition, and the winner could get a contract with the Escapist! Oh, wait... :P |
Time Lord Posts: 10005 Joined: 13 Feb 2008 | Very MST3K. "Let me try my chainsaw on your stomach, I'm publishing the results in the journal of whoop-ass" Nice :) |
Copy Clerk Posts: 95 Joined: 9 Feb 2008 | Finally, the escapist has found its second good comedy video after ZP. Does anyone else find that often when this sort of thing is attempted the person doing it has a voice that you can't help but find annoying? Finally some people who are not only funny, but actually sound funny. |
Paperboy Posts: 43 Joined: 2 Mar 2008 | Excellent concept, well executed, and easily repeatable. IMO, the clear outright winner of the competition. |
Senior Editor Posts: 2277 Joined: 9 Jan 2007 | This is the kind of comedy that everyone tries, but so few actually do well. This was just several different kinds of awesome. I want a t-shirt that says "...and yet, the armadillo." Eagerly looking forward to the next installment! |
Paperboy Posts: 29 Joined: 9 Oct 2008 | Very funny, reminds me a lot of the "abridged series" running around the internet. Definitely first in my opinion. |
Creator of Unforgotten Realms Posts: 581 Joined: 15 Apr 2008 | You know if the armadillo was the size of an elephant, it would be pretty scary. |
IT Director Posts: 1549 Joined: 13 Jun 2002 | I got to see this yesterday, and I found it absolutely hilarious. I'm not surprised at all that it's one of the winners. Well deserved congrats! |
Muckraker Posts: 314 Joined: 26 Feb 2008 | Dear god, that is one of the funnyist things I've seen in a while. "They returned to E.D.N. III to deploy more powerful acronyms." Hilarious. Also, can you always name the guy who surronds people Bernie? Little inside joke never hurt nobody. Except Bernie. |
Anonymous Source Posts: 7 Joined: 13 Nov 2008 | I entered into that contest. I obviously didn't win but I can't be mad when I got beat by such bad asses. |
Paperboy Posts: 11 Joined: 5 Nov 2008 | Beautifully well done guys! This would be so easy to make into a regular feature with the right writers, and it appears that you've got them. Marvelous job; I think the tie is a crock; you held this one all your own. I for one hope against hope that you follow through with this. You've got at least 23 die-hard fans right now (and considering the only thing I've found worth watching on the site is ZP, count that as high praise indeed). You actually pull off the MST3K mannerisms beautifully. Side note: |

Good thing we didn't have to! What's better than one 1st place winner? Two 1st place winners! The very definition of a win-win. |
Paperboy Posts: 14 Joined: 19 Oct 2008 | I liked it. Never hurts to borrow from Mystery Science Theater 3000, but these imitators are actually pretty good at it :D |
Paperboy Posts: 23 Joined: 26 Aug 2008 | One word: GENIUS!!!!!!! |
Paperboy Posts: 20 Joined: 3 Oct 2008 | Well played. You've pretty much got the humour spot on! |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 951 Joined: 10 Sep 2007 | Hell yeah, LRR. Of course they won. It was vaguely unfair for them to enter. |
On the Record Posts: 6587 Joined: 26 Jun 2008 | "how bad? your wife's meatloaf bad?" i can see where your idea's come from, it was a good effort ^-^ congrats on winning |
