I think the guy actually registered yesterday, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, having a truly random lottery thing going on isn't bad, but every time this happens (and it is a lot) it just feels like a slap to the face for all of the regulars. | |

Makes sense, but every rule has its flaws. It is obvious that the guy registered yesterday only to participate in the contest, but even if the "1 month" or the "100 posts" rule were up, you'd have users who never post or people who post frantically just to make the cut. I'm here for more than one month, but I haven't got 100 posts yet, so I'd definitely be one to complain (or shed tears). =/ What would be a limit/rule with the least flaws possible? | |
