It really is true though, without the horrible games (though only horrible to some) we wouldn't know truly fun games. By knowing what we don't like, it helps us truly appreciate what we do like.

Argh! Why does everyone think GTAIV had a good story? It was rubbish! Grargh! Etc.

the editorial topics the Escapist chooses each week never cease to amaze me... this is why i come here for serious gaming journalism instead of gamespot...

Duck Hunt is not a bad game. It's a great game. I love shooting gallery games. The dog that makes fun of you for missing is cool too. I was glad when Wii Sports had a shooting gallery game, but I missed the smart a$$ dog.

Now, Enter the Matrix, Red Steel, E.T., Batman and Robin: those are trashy games! I don't know anyone who is an actual fan of those games.

This is very true. I love Spiderman and Venom: Separation Anxiety but do not consider it a good game in any respect. Its just mindless fun.

Wii sports has a shooting game o.0 and I like redsteel.
