We Three Kings of Gaming Are

The consumer, the media, and the creators - in this season of gift-giving, there are sorely-needed gifts that each of these kings of gaming could give the industry.

Mirror's Edge and LBP didn't strike gold, but they did passably enough, no?

I think that there have been genuinely great games that sold well - Fallout 3, Wrath of the Lich King, just to name two because I need more coffee - but I think the properly concerning bit isn't that GOOD titles don't make money, but that these were all installments in series where LBP and Mirror's Edge were not.

As was the example you used, Zelda OoT.
