Injustice: Gods Among Us

Graham and Paul take us through a decimated Metropolis.

I'm pretty sure Wonder Woman would be handy fighting Doomsday because, you know, Wonder Woman.

Aquaman can just keep hanging out on that rooftop, though; he's in no rush.

It's not that Superman needs help tying people up... it's just that Wonder Woman enjoys it so very much.

Looks like the kids are gunna need to call in another Teen Titan.

Since we're going on about Wonder Woman...

What the heck is going on with her chest in that scene? I don't think breasts are supposed to stick out two feet in front of you.

thank you, the internet was not full enough with reverences to AoT.....

I like how, Aquaman has a badass outfit and all but ISN'T the long haired bearded Hook Handed version.

Also Batman DOES have a bullet-proof-esque cape, he changes it up depending on what he's doing, however what i call total bullshit on is that ridiculously obvious armor plating on his suit its like THESE bits you can shoot/stab/whatever and THESE bits you can't.

ALso also, why the fuck didnt they have Raven just use her "Portal to suck everything to the 9th circle of blackness in dimension X" spell

They should call this tournament "The Cell Games".

Yeah, just how exactly would the Joker be able to drug Superman?

Yeah, I noticed that. Since when did Wonder Woman have breasts the size of torpedoes?

I see what you did there.

It's much worse in one of the later cutscenes where Evil!WonderWoman is wearing a dress.

Suddenly she's got beach balls in her chest.

I can't stand how some of the characters look.

It's like Ed Boon and Team think the only way a female can be 'sexy' is if she has the face of a man on the body of a porn star with plastic boobies.

Seriously...
RAVEN looks so freaking horrid, the kind of "in real life" chick with a face that could turn a lesbian straight or a hetro-man gay.

I had to snicker at the fanfiction reference...even though I'm a fanfic writer myself. (Video game fanfiction, in my case...but then, those games tend to cross THEMSELVES over after a while.) Especially when they mentioned that you've got too many characters when Solomon Grundy comes in.

More like the DC-el games.

Aren't all Big Two comics basically fan fiction at this point? That Luthor & Grundy vs. Cyborg and the Titans matchup isn't even the most ridiculous crossover event to happen.

"Where all the costumes are slightly different but Green Lantern is no more in character..."

"I think I've read this fanfiction!"

"Is Black Adam more or less racist because he isn't black?" - Possibly one of my favorite Unskipable quotes ever

Best episode in a long time!

It's well known that Batman's cape only block shuriken's when it's in active motion.
If he was standing still and unaware then he would have been dead.

I'm totally invested in this game's canon story now...

I actually slipped at least halfway out of my seat laughing at "It's good!"

Nice one, guys.

But Injustice is also on Xbox.

little known fact: during the marvel/DC crossover event batman secretly captured Deadpool and beat the secrets of the 4th wall out of him and now has the power to build plot armor into any of his gadgets.

and really, DC has enough villains(Luthor,Savage, Ras ect.) who could pull off a major tournament where they force heroes to fight each other without involving alternate dimensions.

These guys are funny.

Heh... Black Adam.

I'm not sure I got it. Do writers generally have issues with writing Green Lantern consistenly or something?
(I'm not a Green Lantern fan, I only know him from DC crossovers)

I hear she and the other Amazons play games like that back on Themyscera (sp?).

Sometimes that's a good thing. Ed Brubaker read Captain America comics as a kid, then got the job writing Cap, and he's the guy to thank for turning Bucky into a badass. Over at DC, Geoff Johns and Grant Morrison were big fans of Green Lantern and Batman growing up, and now wrote some of the best storylines for those characters in recent memory. Those two basically have the keys to an entire universe in their hands.

"Aquaman on rooftops" line was really funny - thank you, guys! :)

That wasn't the Joker. That was Jarl Baalgruf's steward. I cannot not hear that whiny pissant's voice

You know Superman is crossing the line when friggin' Batman is trying to cool him down.

To be completely honest, my knowledge isn't completely up to date, so my interpretation could be wrong. In my exposure to Green Lantern, however, I've found the whole "machine gun" thing to be largely out of character. He's a character whpo has historically used some insane and impractical constructs where something like a gun would probably be more efficient and make more sense. Unless, of course, he had to have intimate knowledge of how a gun's mechanics work, but I don't think that's how the ring's powers work.

Again, I could be wrong, but that's what I took out of it and it made me laugh. XD

yeah you kind of need to have decent knowledge of what you want to make, which is why certain lanterns make machines of some sort or another while others just make blunt or sharp instruments that are basic in construction, plus the more complex the construct the more concentration you need to devote to it as all the rings are controlled by thought and the respective emotion it is powered by

The absence of Mark Hamill is nearly rectified by the continued presence of Kevin Conroy.

Nearly.

I think the problem with this game is that a lot of story details are part of a comic prequel... which might make it confusing to some people.

Still, funny jokes all around, as usual.

In one issue of Wonder Woman during Gail Simone's run, Black Canary pretty blatantly states that Diana has the second biggest bust in the league (behind Power Girl, o' course). But that still doesn't explain the bizarre shape and size present here.

But yes, considering Diana has strength near Superman's level, is better in close combat than Batman, and has no easily exploited weaknesses, I'd say she'd be more than handy in a fight against Doomsday. Arthur would take part and be OUTRAGEOUS.

Yeah nobody has a bust bigger than Power Girl. It was take all of her Super Strength just to stand up.
