We Finally Really Did It, Charlie Brown

We Finally Really Did It, Charlie Brown

I like to think of this as an alternate ending for the Peanuts series.

Well, that's creepy. Brilliant, but creepy.

I want to see much more of this strip. It's been very interesting so far.

References of references..
Drugs.. and RATS!

This is awesome and would be so coll if true, you never do see the adults, do you?

I can't tell if you've ruined Peanuts forever, or just made it even better.

Both, I think.

Brevity is the soul of wit.

So simple, yet so funny (The "Good grief" seals the deal)

Keep 'em coming!

Well...that's certainly one way to end the strip.

It reminds me of Neon Genesis Evangelion for some reason (yes, yes, I know it's a Planet of the Apes tribute/parody/homage, my brain's just funny like that). And now I want to see Peanuts/NGE crossover fanfiction.

Has anyone here been to the Charles Schultz musuem in Santa Rosa? definitely worth going.

That's fantastic. Keep up the good work!

In the future there will be only Brown.

The horse should be Snoopy's flying doghouse.

"What will he find out there Linus?"
"His Great Pumpkin Sally."

I don't know why these comics make me think of salad fingers.

The Real Sandman:
Brevity is the soul of wit.

I wish the Escapist did the signiture thing at the bottom of posts, I would put that as mine...

Please don't make me think of salad fingers, I'm creeped out thinking about it.

For some reason all I'm thinking about is that one scene from Spaceballs.

Nonetheless, I like!

Keep em coming. :D

This is the best one yet. Very good.

I'm very excited to see where this comic goes...

Your comics are so awesome that I am posting for the first time in months.

Keep up the good work.

Snugglesworth, what if I told you I created this comic to lure you out of hiding?

You have been in there with the door closed for so long I was starting to worry.

Love the comic dude!

I just read your Winnie the pooh stuff and I'm impressed and confused in the best of ways.

Your avatar keeps mocking me. That is the best thing I have ever seen.

You obviously need a new outfit, unclean one. ;)

I always did wonder why there weren't any adults. Now I know.

Makes me wonder who the heck the kids were talking to in there class.

I really hope this is a new regular comic. The Escapists current comic... eh... not so good.

It is essentially advertisement. There are ways, of course, but talking about them on this forum may earn you a ban.

There are alternative ways...like joining the Publisher's Club. While this costs money (which goes to The Escapist) it saves time and frustration. It will rob you of the Captcha experience which is always prophetic in its random nature.

OT: Okay, this is a pretty accurate recreation of the 1968 PotA original scene. Even the cloud shapes are preserved. However, the statue looks shorter and more simian. Explain yourself, Nick! I have my own theory, but I already bet it pales in comparrison to anything you've got.

I love that scene so much.

Any imaginative explanation would be grandiloquence.
I was going to make the statue "Peanutsesque" but it didn't look very good.
That's the best I could salvage.

Perhaps a further exploration into this with Peanuts-style apes is in order.
I could explain away the Statue of Simian Liberty!

I think you should quote him instead of me so he would get a PM notification.

You can thank Shakespeare for that.

Strazdas, that would make sense...which would be out of place in this thread. Stop making good points and being the boss of me. About Nick: I cannot say that Nick is at home, but I can say that his stabbing wit is...which better kill me...by stabbing." I predict he'll see or has seen my post. I'm just going to sit back and wait for the magic. (The cross dressing bunny explanation was well worth the wait.)

The clanks of your beard have awakened me.
In retrospect, I wish I had drawn that statue a little better.
As the esteemed CB has been known to say from time to time, "AAUGH!"

Well done sir. No doubt the little red haired girl perished and Charlie Brown had to make due with Lucy to help repopulate the species. The nightmares. I bet Lucy ups her psychiatric fee from a nickel.
