Brazil is a perennial contender in the World Cup, this time isn't any different. They haven't won since 1994, maybe this year they'll get back into the swing of winning.

Actually, Brazil won in 2002 as well. But anyhow, I'm behind Costa Rica and Germany now England is out, I'm really hoping Costa Rica gets far :-)

[insert pointless argument about how good CRC has played in the last couple of games]
[insert multiple praises to CRC's goalie, Saint Keylor Navas]
[insert observation of how CRC is the only standing survivor of the so-called "(D)eath Group"]
[insert sudden realization that nobody will care about this because this is a sports discussion on a gaming forum]

But in all seriousness, people from Costa Rica (myself included) read this thing. And it's not nice when someone makes fun of what is currently one of the greatest achievements of our tiny country's football (despite of how true they might be).

There's still plenty of time for surprises to come. We might even make it to the finals.

After all, weirder things have happened.
