From Beginner to Expert: The Ultimate Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Guide

Looks great! I'll be using your tips to level up tonight in Season 2.

Great tips to start season 2!

Great tips man. Thanks so much!

Great video and article. Can't wait for tonight. :)

I am a bit dubious on the apparent number of people who made accounts to comment on this article.

I'm encouraging my YouTube followers to get on The Escapist.

Hey Rhykker, thanks for this Guide and for all your great YouTube content! Your videos have been very helpful and I am happy to link them to my friends since they are so well made and straight to the point. Cheers and keep up the good work!

Hm. I played quite a bit of Diablo 3 since I got it when it first released, but I never got into the Hardcore end-game stuff, because trying to farm efficiently was so boring and the idea of leveling a new character each Season was just "Nope".

Though maybe one of these days I'll go back and finally finish leveling my Hardcore character just so I can say I did.

Thanks for spotting that - fixed!

Oh, what a lovely, comprehensive guide for reference! Thank you!

Great stuff, only read the Demon Hunter portions thus far but this seems solid content.

Here's hoping for more of the same in the future.

On a side note, any chance of having the links open in the same page instead of a new tab? ( remote the target="_blank" ). It's kinda awkward to end up with half a dozen tabs open from browsing through it via the table of contents.

To be fair the game is VERY different than it was at launch. For one the time to max level is about a fourth of what it was. And while some people do the "most efficient but no fun" thing, the addition of adventure mode makes efficient grinding more fun with random quests and random rifts.

Question for adventure-mode leveling. Should I concentrate on the Rifts? Like just empty out my fragments and move on back to bounties? Or just do a general back and forth?

When leveling this season my group wanted to see the improved cache rewards, it was also more fun and we were not rushing. What did happen though is that because the insane amount out of extra recipe drops we were able to craft legendary weapons the whole way up, and we both got the Cain's set recipe within 3 caches of hitting 23. Do you think this fact makes it worthwhile to actually complete bounty sets every now and then, or at least rush them after 23 till you get Cain's? We were in no particular rush had no level plan and took several breaks and still ended up at about 7 hours.
