Gone Gonzo Posts: 1094 Joined: 11 Oct 2008 | Awww man that was a hilarious video: "He must kick ass ping pong!" |
On the Record Posts: 5753 Joined: 7 Jan 2009 | That fight could've lasted longer though. And that's one of the strangest things I've ever seen. |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 664 Joined: 14 Nov 2008 | Great Job! The bit about jello had me cracking up. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1303 Joined: 19 Jun 2008 | Little known fact:Giant flying snake monsters contributed highly to the decline of strip mining in feudal Japan. |
Beat Writer Posts: 216 Joined: 29 Jan 2009 | The Mortal Kombat reference was very well placed, as was the Fallout 3 Megaton reference. Good job! Hey does this mean you have gathered enough courage to cover games that are not mediocre and we can expect titles like Resident Evil, Grand Theft Auto (and the like) in the near future? |
On the Record Posts: 5581 Joined: 14 Sep 2008 | You have lost karma for destroying Megaton. I seriously laughed at that... Man, this keeps getting better and better. |
Paperboy Posts: 11 Joined: 16 Mar 2009 | I'm sure somewhere along the line these videos have been compared to the hilarious "Mystery Science Theater 3000". Every one that I watch has me in tears at some point due to laughter. Keep up the great work guys. This stuff is priceless. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2703 Joined: 20 Feb 2008 | Lol well done. Every week you guys just keep getting better. I am a bit disappointed about the lack of the moon reference though. |
Paperboy Posts: 26 Joined: 19 Feb 2009 | Very nice guys. Very nice. Hilarious! |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 549 Joined: 24 Sep 2008 | Wow. He must kick ass at ping pong had me laughing. This is such a grat series, but when are you guys gonna step up and do MGS 4???? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1850 Joined: 13 Jan 2009 | That has to be the wierdest game on the face of the earth... still funny as always, "that was the third time I died" |
Beat Writer Posts: 210 Joined: 14 Aug 2008 | Now I want to play this game to fully understand what the HELL Jean Reno and France has to do with massive demons and feudal Japan. Honestly. What. The. Fuck. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1016 Joined: 21 May 2008 | Amazing episode. I have to say I didn't enjoy the previous 2 videos that much, but this one was simply amazing. |
Paperboy Posts: 45 Joined: 10 Sep 2008 | Why, in ancient Japan, were they speaking English, but in modern day France, they speak French? Good catch there! |
Beat Writer Posts: 174 Joined: 28 Dec 2008 | It was okay, it didn't make me rofl out of my chair like some of the other episodes. I am sad that once it started to get good (cutscene-wise), it was about to end. |
Muckraker Posts: 239 Joined: 5 Nov 2008 | That has to be the weirdest game intro I have ever seen. I'd like to know how the developers of that game came up with the story. Guess I'll have to play the game now to see how (and if) it all fits together. Great commentary as well, your videos have really grown on me. |
Beat Writer Posts: 138 Joined: 14 Jan 2009 | I really enjoyed this. I remember reading EGM's preview for this...france...japan....wtf...? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1819 Joined: 8 Oct 2008 | Ok very funny, he must kick ass at ping pong, hahahaha but, uh...look, i know JRPGs are very easy targets for this kind of stuff but c'mon review games like shooters or hell puzzels because except for The Darkness and Lost Planet its been JRPG after JRPG, add some varity guys. |
Muckraker Posts: 316 Joined: 30 Jul 2008 | What the... what is this game about? Jean Reno? "You loose karma for blowing up Megaton," Nice reference lol!
What about the Getaway (action adventure), Dead Rising (action sandbox), The Bouncer (beat em' up), Run Like Hell (shooter) and Two Worlds (real time RPG) ALSO? Plus this is actually an action game... so that leaves what, 4 JRPGs out of 12 games? I don't see your point... |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 924 Joined: 20 Nov 2008 | Gotta love the carry-over gags from the previous reels. The funny thing about this is...dude, I might actually wanna play this. Onimusha's fun, after all. It's just...I beat Warlords in A DAY. Well, it wasn't mine anyway, so no foul, right? |
Beat Writer Posts: 214 Joined: 15 Nov 2008 | I wonder too, is the moon bigger in Japan? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1771 Joined: 18 Nov 2008 | Not as good as last weeks, but still entertaining. I've got to play that game now... |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2050 Joined: 14 Oct 2008 | Wtf seems to sum this game up perfectly |
Paperboy Posts: 34 Joined: 18 Dec 2007 | Probably one of my favorite series that Capcom has put out aside from Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry. |
Muckraker Posts: 317 Joined: 5 Feb 2009 |
This statement confuses me greatly. |
Paperboy Posts: 34 Joined: 18 Dec 2007 | It all has to do with time travel and whatnot. |
Paperboy Posts: 34 Joined: 18 Dec 2007 |
This isn't an RPG, it's a hack n slash action game. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1025 Joined: 27 Aug 2008 | is it just me... my copy of the game did not have that first cutscene... i thought they got the title wrong till they showed the paris scene.. and there is a bit more of the paris scene where jacques arrives with his bike and shoots stuff... and then gives you controll.. but whatever maby i just accidentally skipped it every time.. or im an idiot... both are plausible |
Paperboy Posts: 12 Joined: 5 Sep 2008 | Seriously? After all that ruckus, that's how the cutscene ends. Now that would be the appropriate moment for a France surrendering joke. "Well hello there, Mr. Resiliant." "He must be really good at Super Bomberman." |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2147 Joined: 25 Feb 2008 | Pamplemousse is my favourite French word. ^^ |
