Oooh the creepy guy from the Yahtzee fable video. Hes scary. Also those two games were meh, if you must mention him at least mention his few good ideas. Populous, Syndicate & Dungeon Keeper.
Okay so I actually preferred Populous: The Beginning, Syndicate Wars & Dungeon Keeper 2, which he has nothing to do with but hey, it seems he at least helps invent decent IPs that once in other peoples hands become something worth while.

It's pretty cut and dry. Microsoft either replaces the 360 prize with a similar one or they'll look stupid. Making a mistake like this is plenty bad PR as is.

But unlike some, I'm not really seeing any intentional ripping people off here. A hilariously stupid mistake, yes, but nothing worse than the moronic statements the console companies put out almost daily.

This is absolutely hilarious. I mean think about it, someone actually had to work HARDER to screw this up.

That's not really a 360 for playing, anyway. It' a collector's item, and I scorn him for even having the chance to notice that he can't actually use it.

Once again something with Molyneux's name on it fails to meet expectations.

There's two ways around this.

1: Rip out the case, and shove it in a new 360 case.

2: Just slice off the bit of plastic, and VOILA. You can plug the damn cables in!

Agree. Not really that big of a deal in all honesty. The winner still has the best 360 out, but in a totaly unique casing no one else in the world has. Just remove the backing and not only will it work just fine, but with the extra ventilation he's adding, it'll be less likely to RRoD.

Even easier, The HDMI port is totally unobstructed so just use that. Problem solved. Some people are retarded.

Molyneaux is hardly a Uwe Bol. His games are at least ok and sometimes good. Uwe Bol has never made anything worthwhile in his entire career. He's not perfect, but he's far from a Uwe Bol.

I wouldn't feel the least bit of remorse cracking that case to get to the ports. As previous poster said, it would probably provide better ventilation and less chance for RROD. Or better yet sell it back to Molyneaux. The guy's so full of himself he'd probably offer beaucoup bucks for it. Like he'd want to play anything on it....

I went out of my way to buy a DVD signed by Tommy Wiseau, so that should answer your question.

No they threw a HDMI-enabled (ie, brand new) X360 into a non HDMI-compatible shell. Still just as bad... Look at the original site to see the pics in more detail.

Sorry for the bump, but there's now another Molyneux-signed 360 out there, and I own it. Won it with a competition with 360 Magazine. Thankfully they didn't fuck this one up and it works fine - came as an elite but had hand-drawn artwork of one of the Hobbe creatures from the fable games, holding a scroll saying 'well done'. Not sure what I did well mind, I sent an email with my answer to the obligatory painfully obvious question, maybe that's considered an achievement. Came with some random merch like tshirt, bag, limited copy of the game, and for some reason a bag of chocolate coins, I think they're meant to be fable gold, although they appear to have '1 Euro' on the foil wrap haha. Also obviously me being from the UK, it's a PAL Console, here's some pics -

The thing is, I'm skint as hell and I already have a Jasper Arcade machine with 120gb hard drive, so I'm just selling it to a Fable fan who'll appreciate it more, then spending some of the profits on one of those awesome light up transparent cases.

Personally if I'd got that dodgy one though, I'd have just cut off the bit of offending plastic with a hacksaw and sanded it down, shortly after telling everyone on the internet about the monumental fuck up.
