Gone Gonzo Posts: 1806 Joined: 26 Mar 2009 | I found myself disgusted yesterday cause Return of the Jedi was on TV and it actualy showed the Sarlaac as a giant worm coming out from the pit. Looked incredibly stupid. The original was so much better when it was just tongues. Oh, and neat pillow. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1964 Joined: 24 Sep 2008 | That's bullshit, they should have modeled it after the old Sarlaac and not the stupid Special Edition one. Not a nerd. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3913 Joined: 17 Feb 2008 | The bounty hunters helmet is a nice touch, but I wonder how large this is? If it's just the size of a normal pillow I'd find on my bed (65cm width x 41cms length x 15cms height, approx.), then I'm not very interested, still impressed but I wouldn't buy it. EDIT:
God no. |

Beat Writer Posts: 207 Joined: 24 Feb 2009 | I never got this, does the sarlac somehow keep you alive for 1000 years to digest you, or does it just take that long to absorb your flesh? And if that was the case, it must be something along the lines of a snake, who would only actually eat once every few years to prevent energy consumption, so why would it allow Jaba to keep throwing things into it to eat? Hmmmm.... |

If you're wondering how he eats and breathes/And other science facts,/Just repeat to yourself "It's just a show, I should really just relax... |

I'm not sure if you saw Star Wars, but this happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, so if this is the case, there are good men possibly still being digested out there! God only knows how many sarlac there really are... |

Wait, if there's more than one sarlacc, does that mean they're sarlaccs, or sarlacci? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1282 Joined: 14 Apr 2009 | I believe that this product could actually be the best thing since sliced bread. |

Yes, that would suggest they breed, meaning they must possess the ability to burrow or leave the pit at some point during its life cycle, perhaps Jabba's sarlac stays there because of some degree of domestication? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4887 Joined: 10 Jan 2009 | I don't like it: it looks ugly. Still, it's hilarious to see these fan-made products. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1277 Joined: 21 Apr 2009 | Any one else think that the tentacles look like gummy worms.
But there are tentacles and we all know that Vaginas never have tentacle anywhere near them..... eww *Goes to wash self multiple times* |

Sarlaac Pillow Will Eat Your Head
Geekdom and soft furnishing collide in a pillow that will digest you over a thousand years.
There's something positively Lovecraftian about the Sarlaac from Return of the Jedi. A ancient creature that dwells at the bottom of a pit - or possibly is the pit - with a disgestive system that takes centuries to finish you off.
So what do you do with a creature that is indescribably horrible? You guessed it, make it plush. Created for the Stitch Wars exhibition at the Bear & Bird gallery in Lauderhill, Florida - located above a comic book store just to make this extra geeky - which opens later this month, and is just one of dozens of pieces.
If they're all as good as this one, and this is very good indeed, it'll be an exhibition worth seeing. I especially want to see all the plush Vaders.
