This is made of win. Although they look more like Stormtroopers than Steel Troopers.
Oh god cos-players... Well they get an A for effort if anything.
Wow, they really put some effort into making that. If that's made of metal nd not just plastic that looks like metal it must weight a tonne.
Wow, that's really impressive. Awesome.
Must...resist...envy... Also, could someone explain to me the origins of the term 'cosplayer'? I mean, I sort of get the 'player' part. But the 'cos'?
COStume. These costumes are awesome, clearly a lot of effort. I could never manage something like that, I'm too lazy.
Fanboys........................................fanboys never change........................................
fanboys they may be but at least there efforts went beyond the fanboys usual duties of shouting at each other on the internet
I know mate, I was kidding :)
Ah. Thank you. That makes sense.
They all have a little too much free time. Still cool though.
Yeah, so it's kind of meh.
Pure win i have to say,id do the same if i had the material or the time, but Kudos to the Russians!
That is awesome. They really put alot of effort in those costumes.
I wish I had one. Man I would freak the shit out of people walking down the road in that.
I've seen much better but A for effort.
I dont think anyone else should ever be aloud to cosplay unless they can do it to this degree ever again
I've seen better, but 10 for effort.
This was a good cosplay. I could totally see a Fallout movie being made now, actually. It's a good idea: the concept is very Hollywood, and it doesn't have any identifiable characters to butcher. Think I am Legend but in the Fallout universe and with more suriviors.
Well, I don't quite see how the lush green forest fits in with the fallout aesthetic.
I would love to have a suit of power armor!
This...makes me proud to be half Russian, I hate most cosplay, but, god damn this is awesome.
Ah, those good ol' crazy russians. I applaud your dedication to cosplaying from great games.
It's not fallout 3. Who the fuck would even want to cosplay fallout 3? Anyway this was supposed to take place some time between fallout 2 and 3.
The Charlton Heston one or the original?
The one with Will Smith in it.
The original ending or the alternate ending?
I don't know which ending I saw: I think it was the original one, considering I saw it on a airplane. The plot isn't what I'm trying to communicate though: rather, it's the atmosphere.
Actually, I think they put just a tad more effort into this than necessary. The costumes look awesome, especially the power armor helmet and the indoor scenes. As said before, lush green shrubbery isn't very Fallout. And yes, I could imagine a movie about post-apocalyptic stuff, and...oh wait... Mad Max, Code 47, Children Of Men, Equilibrium...etc. On the other hand, an Equilibrium style movie would be awesome, just in River City and Megaton :)
That is just too cool. In a kind of extreme fanboy, too much spare time way... But still amazingly awesome. It must have taken ages to make those BoS costumes. *is impressed* Also that pic of the BoS guy climbing down the ladder is claustrophobia inducing to say the least.
not fanboys they go on the computer and complain they are well really dedecated fans
I think it's costume =/ just takin' a guess there :) that's what I always say when explaining it to someone :) i'm probably wrong
If I did ever decided to cosplay, thats how I would do it.
i didn't do so well in arts & crafts. so good for them. freakin' sweet looking.

Russian Cosplayers Dress Up for Fallout 3
Those dedicated, slightly crazy Russian cosplayers are at it again, this time turning their obsessive attention to detail to the good old-fashioned post-nuclear fun of Fallout 3.
Maybe there's something in the water - radiation, perhaps, or vodka - or maybe it's the legacy of communism. Whatever's going on over there, it's driving Russian videogamers to dizzying new heights of dedication to their games. First it was S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which attracted dozens of people with shockingly well-made costumes and props to a pair of cosplay sessions that put North American efforts to shame. Now they've turned their attention to Fallout 3, the hit post-apocalyptic RPG from Bethesda.
I'm assuming it's not the same group that brought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to life but the effort and the results are very comparable. The real-life Fallout action focuses on the Brotherhood of Steel, with lots of power armor (not actually powered, sadly, but still some very nice facsimiles), scribes and initiates in light armor. There are also merchants, raiders and at least one ghoul, all running around in an appropriately bleak, blasted-out landscape. There's even a busted-up Lada!
I'm not sure what these people actually do at these things aside from pose for some very cool pictures, but it looks like fun nonetheless. Have a look at the whole thing at englishrussia.com.
