Looks photoshoped. Is that a almost naked statue behind and a little left of the black guy? (Sorry don't know names)
mall + zombies= awesome in my opinion. hope their true.
Ah, I think Dead Centre is true. I remember seeing 'ings getting slashed' somewhere before. I can't remember where, though.
Hm. I get the feeling that 'Hard Rain' is going to cause some controversy in New Orleans.
Who doesn't want a mall filled with zombies?
Woah. If that's fake then it's really, really well done.
These looks pretty awesome. I love the tag lines.
Real or otherwise, Kudos to those who made them.
It does appear to be a mannequin, yes. Not that unusual in malls which would go with the "Prices slashed" subtitle. Either it's an official map, or it'll become a fan made map. We'll likely see this mall+zombies turning up whatever happens :P
I hope so, or if anything, new community maps.
I'd like to see how VALVe would make a mall filled with zombies.
I would asume that Valve build their posters in Photoshop or similar software to some extent, so that means very little. I do hope that this is a real shot though, it looks like a laugh.
It certainly has a real look to it, in a way that I'd at least hope Dead Center is real. Sounds a bit unlikely though, if only for odd places for the source. Its close enough to release for odd things to start appearing too though... So conflicted.
I wouldn't know, so I guess you're right. It would be cool if you can hole up in and Ambercrobie and Fitch store and throw the guys that wear sandals to the zombies.
Hopefully it will be filled with games stores, computer shops, Games Workshops, and a whole lotta Pukka Pie stands.
That's Coach. I think those are manikins... If it is a Hoax, it looks very real...
The Steam forums are considering it legit, if that helps anything.
Looks a little fake, but I don't know what art style they will use for the game.
Lol, nice joke. Dead Rising had to put "Not affiliated with Dawn of the Dead" or something on it's cover so I think it's a hoax.
I mean being the internet I want to say fake, but that does seem like it would be a hell of a lot of work considering the resources aren't there like TF2. Plus I really like them. Do want.
I hope this is real, what could be more fun than running through a mall?....well, besides the possibility of sponsorship ads.
Gamestores? I HEAR PRODUCT PLACEMENT!
| |
You mean like... a mannequin? The kind that clothing stores use? Seems fitting to me given the setting.
Both are real. The poster's might not be, but the two campaigns are. There's footage of hard rain being played at some french convention (http://www.revioo.com/news/l4d-left-dead2-n13174.html) Also, There's footage of another campaign (it's on gametrailers.com somewhere) where Ellis references the mall campaign.
Looks good- can't wait.
I squeeled with girlish delight. I'd love to play out my sick Dawn of the Dead fantasies in L4D2. :)
Dead Center looks like an entirely melee weapons campaign. I hope it is, anyway.
Looks like it could be pretty damn fun if it is real.
God I hope the shopping mall is true. I've been wanting a level like that since the original.
looks awesome | |
Guess there is a fifty/fifty chance, but seeing as it came from a Taiwanese site I'm not sure whether to trust it.
You mean like this | |
Baha.... Sorry, that was in bad taste. These characters look quite entertaining, except the black female.
I'm going to say true. The art seems valve standard and the story behind them seems legit enough to be true. And come on, the fake guard dog update was pretty easy to spot.

Are These The Last Two Left 4 Dead 2 Campaigns?
Could this poster have revealed one of the last two L4D2 campaigns, or is this some terrible hoax?
Well, considering that the poster appeared on a Taiwanese gaming site, I'm going to go with hoax, but I've caught out before on that score, so I'm not saying anything for definite. Let us not forget the fake guard dog for TF2
If it are genuine, then we now know what one of the final campaigns for Left 4 Dead 2 will be called Dead Center and will be set in a shopping mall. A second poster, which can be seen here, has revealed that the final campaign might be called Hard Rain and will have an industrial setting.
If these are genuine, then we're in for some fun and if they're not, well, they're damn cool posters anyway and if enough people like them, then maybe they might become real.
