Sounds like Bungie realized the anime will be crap, so they're marketing it to as wide a group as possible. Halo is to MS what God of War is to Sony. It'll take a lot more Halo installments (Halo XII, coming soon to a Playstation 8 near you) before MS give up their stranglehold on the games.

Thats not the master chief, its Spartan 1337 from "Odd One Out" the anime being developed for Legends by Toei Animation. Its non-cannon and meant to be satirical.
OT: I think that out of the seven anime (why is it always seven with bungie?) that are being produced for Legends at least one of them is going to be good (Hoping for all of them to be good). I do like the fact that they are producing many different styles of anime for this. Im planing on getting this when it comes out.

Trust me, I get what you're saying but Batman was always dark and the animated series 'got' that it was never toned down (to an extent) for kids. Yes I do know that our cartoons are animated in Korea and Japan, I love animations so yes I do know. Writing has some but little to do with the animation, when it comes to Halo Legends the stories are directed by Japanese directors, they figure out what goes and what stays and sometimes it works in anime and sometimes it doesn't.
