Look at the state of his place compared to the size of his TV! I was expecting some tiny little thing given what the rest of the place looks like. That thing is huge!
That is a great Rick Roll...shame he doesn't get it.
Is it? Oh, I suppose it might be. Remember, it's cold up here, so big TVs are the norm. Figure that if we're gonna have the thing on anyway, it might as well serve as a heat source for the room you know.
The fact that this guy was so oblivious about the Rickroll just made it all the more hilarious. Well played.
such a long video, but totally worth the watch...
This is hilarious, I love how disappointed he gets. I think I will try that even though I might not be able to keep a straight face while doing it.
That could have been so much better.
Actually, the fact that he doesn't get it makes it even better ^^
I was laughing my head off. As if he didnt get the joke, wheres he been?
Oh god, that was so hilarious. "It came with another CD, do you wanna try that?" xD
Wow, my room seems clean next to his...
I lol'd | |
That was pure genius, someone give that guy a cookie.
Well played. The other guy seemed high at first, but I think it is real. Anyway, its funny how his TV probably worth more than his rent for a year I bet you if he sent it back he would get a new one
it IS a pretty good song.
the fact that he was able to keep a straight face through the entire thing was probably the most impressive part, i would of been rolling the moment the song started playing
More proof that, if done right, RickRolls can stíll be funny. Best part of the video was that guy's cheeky smile at 0:22 or something.
I loved it how he was annoyed that it wasn't a full album and just one repeating song. He would've been happy with an album instead of MW2 =P
It speaks for the guy that he keeps his cool as opposed to freaking out and shouting profanity... as most people in other videos of this type do. "How does that happen???"
Please, for the benefit of the comically impaired would you elaborate on exactly HOW this could have been better, and include no less than three completely original examples on how you would have improved upon this already awesome prank. Now what I want to know is, what's up with the couch? Timmy's change hunt? (You'll probably have to be Canadian to get the reference, but if you're not, and you DO, then good on ya!)
Oh my GOD that was hilarious xD
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I also love how he was blatantly flashing the disk about during the entire video and his friend didn't seem notice......
1.He should have kept the game a fortnight and say it didn't show up.
One of the best Rickrolls ever. That guy seems to have an excess of couches.
yea i was wondering what was up with that! oO
That was brilliant, was a shame that the guy didn't get the whole Rick Roll thing...If that happened to me I'd go nuts.
"A" for effort, but I said improve the prank, not degrade it to a preschooler's level. Stop wasting my time. If you're going to post inflammatory remarks like that, you should be prepared to back them up with intelligent, well thought out hilarity. I would have been pretty impressed if you could have pulled it off, but it seems like you were just in a hurry to reply to my post and put zero thought into it. Oh well, I stopped caring a couple of sentences ago so go ahead and flame me, I might read it next week.
People still rickroll each other? It was creative but it's nothing special now. The Meme got old the moment Macy's Day Parade got rickrolled.
That was ridiculous. The last couple seconds... heh heh heh.
I am not going to flame you because I honestly do not care, it was just my view. Anyway, we need to leave rick rolling alone now...
I hate rickrolls, but this is pure genius.
The only one getting RickRolled here is us. Sitting through a nine minute video to watch a guy dazedly stare at his TV while listening to Rick Astley over & over? C'mon people, the joke's on you.
Second funniest prank this year, pulled on the thickest person on earth. Man, to see this pulled on anyone less dense...
THAT HAPPENED?!!?!? | |

The Great Canadian Modern Warfare 2 Rickroll Caper
Friends may not let friends drive drunk, but screwing them around with an elaborate Rickroll involving their new copy of Modern Warfare 2? That's a whole 'nother matter entirely.
Up here in the Great White North, the winters are long, cold and dark, leaving us with plenty of time to cook up twisted schemes with which to amuse ourselves. Such is the case with these two fine young lads, one of whom ordered a copy of Modern Warfare 2 from Amazon while the other embarked upon a more sinister mission.
The Rickroll itself is remarkably creative; the only downside is the initially tepid response of the victim, who amazingly seems to have no idea who Rick Astley is. On the other hand, there's a certain degree of hilarity in the fact that he appears to genuinely like the song - he lets it play throughout, even as he logs onto Facebook to post a complaint about the mixup - leading his friend to make the brilliant comment, "I didn't know you listened to this kind of music. I would've brought over a Huey Lewis and the News CD."
The slow-burn reaction of the disappointed Modern Warfare 2 fan leads me to wonder if perhaps he's a little more "altered" than the beer bottles on the coffee table would suggest. Whatever the case, this is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages: I have to throw a big thumbs-up to the mastermind of the prank, not just for his imagination but for his ability to keep a straight face while telling his friend that it happened to him once too, when he got a copy of Grand Theft Auto that had PaRappa the Rapper on the disc. Well played, sir. Well played.
