Tidus was a better character than Gabe? Lies. Slightly more in touch with his homosexual side though.
Than Cloud, yes. And please, Tidus saved the world for a girl. Cloud had his butt buddies Zack and Sephiroth :P
Oh my god yes please. HD Dissidia would be incredible.
Wow really? I didn't(nor) played 7 but knowing that, uggh. I did play 10 though.
With more characters, like tons of characters, like TONS of characters.
I doubt it. Dissidia's big selling point (other than the obvious fanservice) is it's a PSP exclusive. That article is probably from some hopeful fan who doesn't own a PSP.
If this is true than I say "Oh Hellz Yea!" I've played the demo and thought it was great, but for some reason never went out and bought it.
Great, now I have to spend money...
Yes, the fact that Cloud could go on dates with all 3 female characters in ff7 makes him gay. :P
Bleh, don't remind me. He started the game an asshole and ended an emo. Which one is worse? OT: Woopee. It gives me a better chance to watch the FF7 Storyline hog the limelight. Just as it always has in the FF series...
To be fair Tidus had nothing better to do since his world turned out to be a dream. He couldn't even blog about it. Notice throughout FFX the amount of emphasis put on Lulu's...ahem...assets and Tidus didn't even take notice?
-gets on his knees and prays-
I will love the creator of this HD Dissidia. I will love them in ways they cannot imagine...
Then Auron can come and beat everyone. Or maybe Rikku.
You can also get Barret though
The cut scene is allot different with Barret :P Its actually kinda funny, more like Barret is the gay one.
Him and Seymour would be my FFX additions I could go on for days
Unless it's not a full HD remake or has some really really nice extras, there's no real point, you can hook your PSP up to a TV soooo yes you can get it on a bigger screen
Again a TON of F^.^ing characters.
Man and I JUST got this game too. but well, whatever. It's still possible to play it over a big screen (HD or not I'm not entirely sure).
This is needed. I have it on PSP but i cant connect it to my tv because have a PSP 1000. so i would love to see it on my big screen
What? I just bought this for PSP. Dammit!!
You mean the picture of the magazine listing platforms: "Xbox 360 and PS3"?
If you played the demo and liked it, then GO GET THE DAMN GAME NOW!!! Because really, the demo actually sucks hard compared to what the actual game has to offer. Anywho, I'm gonna chalk this up to being some hopeful rumor and nothing more. I would love a big HD version of Dissidia as much as the next fan, but I don't see it happening as the game was specifically built from the ground up for the PSP. I also HIGHLY doubt it would ever show up on the 360, PS3 I can see but 360? no way. Besides if you want to play Dissidia on a bigger screen get the PSP component cables or if you are like me and don't have a TV capable of it, Component to VGA converter so you can play it on your PC :) Perhaps if Dissdia ever gets a sequel we might see a console version. It would be packing even MORE content than the first had (which is a shit ton). Until some hard evidence shows up, this is very unlikely to happen, and don't believe magazines 100%, I remember a very clever hoax that showed lightning as DLC a while back.
I'd get it. My PSP broke a few months back, and was way past warranty, too. I never so much as dropped it and it conked out on me. Besides, I'd get to kill Sephiroth as Tidus/Squall over and over. Go 8 and 10! Fuck off 7!
This is stupid. I don't want this. ...I want fuckmothering Dissidia: Kingdom Hearts! Seriously, where is our fanservice!?
at least on a real console the damn thing wouldnt be asking me if I wanted to quit game constantly (each time the psp moves in such a way the disk seems to skip and ask if I want to return home like I pressed the home button, effin annoying) wonder if they will write a real story for it or just keep the crapped out one
Not a fan of final fantasy but dissiddea looked like Kingdom hearts without the Disney stuff and convoluted story, so I could totally go for that.
I would like to see this. If they had just said PS3 then I would have just assumed they were going to make it one of those PSP titles you can play on your PS3, but since they threw the 360 in there I could see them doing a full XBL/PSN title out of it.
...KH doesn't have enough games or good characters to warrant this. Maybe an Organization XIII brawl, but then again, all but about 4 of the 13 characters from that organization are lame...I say this and I like Kingdom Hearts.
I'd like for Dissidia to be on the consoles, but only if it includes more characters than the PSP version. Also, the new characters would have to be balanced in good guys and bad guys equaly. If there is a lack in good choices in a villian from one of the games, then picking another hero is ok then. My picks for new characters would be... Final Fantasy IV > Kain and Zemus
That would make me so happy!!! Hehe, its an epic game and in HD would make it all the sweater!
Was an awesome game, i really hope it hits bigtime
can someone explain to me wtf final fantasy is all about, theirs so many characters and so many deaths I've lost track! and why is it called "final" fantasy when about 13-14 maybe even 15 have been made? =S that's always baffled me as well. if its to long to explain fair enough, a brief outline would do me just fine ha! not looking for smart comments like search bar and such, i want to know from a person who plays the game and isn't a sarcastic flamer who because i ask a simple question is flaming me =) p.s. and i take it from this thread this is a good thing, well PSP to ps3 or 360 is always good i suppose =D
It's a disambiguated series. None of the games are related to each other aside from a few spinoffs/sequels that are self contained to the game in question. Each game is a different story, characters, world ect.. they only share the name and nothing more. They contain similar elements and themes but they are just staples of the franchise. Dissdia is pretty much the smash bros of final fantasy, taking popular characters from the franchise and having them beat the shit out of one another with some insane combat compared to other fighters.

Is Dissidia: Final Fantasy Coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360?
According to a Japanese game magazine, Square-Enix's PSP crossover Final Fantasy brawler Dissidia is bound for the high-definition home consoles.
Apparently there's actually some sort of plot in Dissidia: Final Fantasy (if the Wikipedia page is to be believed, anyway), about how how the goddess of harmony Cosmos and the god of discord Chaos are fighting and created a world from the shattered remnants of other world where they all picked their respective champions and so on, but let's not kid ourselves - the purpose of Dissidia is pure Final Fantasy fanservice, where Sephiroth can fight Kuja and then fangirls can write slash fiction about it.
But the downside to having a surprisingly engaging (and good-looking) action RPG is that it's on the teeny tiny PSP screen, which makes it difficult to appreciate. However, that may be changing, according to this unnamed Japanese gaming magazine (possibly big dog Famitsu?) that lists the game as coming out for the PS3 and 360. While there's no word if it'll be a remake with full HD support or just a downloadable thing that you can get on XBLA or PSN, Final Fantasy fans who don't own a PSP may find the news heartening.
And that's all we know, really - even assuming it is true, and you should (as always) take unconfirmed rumors with a grain of salt. Will it come out in the West? We don't know that, either! Guess we'll just have to wait and see, and dream of killing Cloud as Gabe dreamed of killing Tidus. Tidus was the better main character anyway.
