Sucks to be Australian. While it may not be the best game ever, it's not nice that Australia get the bad end of the stick on all gaming aspects. Hope the people that really want to play it can.

I can see why EA aren't interested in hosting the servers here regardless of the amount of people who want to play here. Its too costly to host servers here, Both blizzard and S2 (Heroes of Newerth) find it too costly to host servers in Australia due to Telstra. S2 posted the costs for hosting HoN servers (something which imo would use alot less bandwidth then an mmo) here: http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=39376&highlight=australia+server

Notice how both providers quoted almost identical prices? Do you know what we call that children? Collusion....can you say collusion boys and girls. Alot of collusion goes on between "rival" companies in Australia. There's Oil companies that collude, communications, banks, and the worst offenders of all, Supermarkets. We have a government department called the ACCC who are supposed to keep companies from talking to one another and setting the same prices for similar services, which eliminates choice for consumers and ensures everyone has to pay higher costs across the board. But they are corrupt....can you say corrupt boys and girls? That means they're money hungry pricks that take money from companies to ignore it instead of doing their job. Now Australia is rooted. That's a shame, isn't it boys and girls.
