Oh god, can't stop laughing. The eyes. He doesn't shut them!
We'll game themes on the piano have been done to death; glad someone picked up and accordion. Another plus for it being mortal combat.
Fantastic jam! | |
According to the comments, it isn't Eowad playing.
This makes me so happy, and I don't even like Mortal Kombat. I hope he didn't learn to play the accordion just to do that.
Lol, love the "Fatality!" at the end. That was a fun vid! Still chuckling.
FOLK-TALITY! I quite like this.
Accordions kick arse!!
This is awesome, simply because the accordion is such a hard instrument to learn to play properly. I always got amazed watching my grandfather play on his, with the speed you need to operate the bellows in fast songs.
Thanks to you, this was the one thing I paid attention to during the video. You're right, he doesn't blink at all. Quite impressive to be able to keep your eyes open for 50 seconds while playing an accordion.
Scorpion with an accordion, what will he do next?! :D
I noticed that too haha | |
I am glad that he decided to dress as such. because if he was not wearing a mask, he would never get laid, ever. Because of the accordion.
Thats really awesome that he can do that, not many ppl out there playing that on acordian.
I can't get the image of someone playing this while two pirates have a Mortal Kombat style pub brawl out of my mind! Luckily, I don't want to...
Win comment is win. I remember my friend playing this theme on his saxophone while we were still in band. Oddly enough, it didn't sound all that different...
He looked like he was having a seizure at the end. Never the less it was awesome and very funny.
Wow that is awesome, a hand to the gentleman
Now thats impressive! hats off to him for that bellow work at the end! Fantastic!
AWESOME I love the accordion. Will get one before the year is out
just awesome | |
Did anyone else hear the scream... MORTAL KOMBAT!!
That is one of the sweetest things I have seen. Is it possible his accordion power level is over 9000?
Awesome. Though I can't top it, i'll throw this in the mix too... its accordion related so it counts. Gotta love covers done on Accordions...if thats your bag.
His face (or what little you can see of it) is hilarious throughout the entire video.
I know what i want my next dream to be. OT: awesomely fun video. Just what i needed to unwind a bit.
He went into an accordian trance
Accordions cannot be beat. Anything that makes you feel like you're livin' out at sea or in the Scottish Highlands can't be bad.
cool | |
My soul can finally rest in peace...after it stops laughing hysterically. =D
That is total what should have been played on the boat in the movie when they went to the tournament.
Yeah, it's obviously Weird Al underneath that ski mask!
That was pretty neat. That guy has some skill, but this dude is way better:
So awesome and the end is hillarious
"GET OVER HERE! ...and listen to me lay down some tunes on you with my epic infernal accordion!" Who knew that Scorpion had European roots? He can busk on street corners when he's not busy with that "agent of revenge from beyond the gates of Hell" thing.

Cosplaying Accordionist Performs Mortal Kombat Theme
Ever wondered what the Mortal Kombat theme might sound like if it had a more nautical vibe? Probably not, but now you can find out anyway.
Regardless of what they might think of the movie itself, most people can agree that Mortal Kombat had a pretty cool theme song - a pounding techno song full of energy, the perfect accompaniment to a pitched martial arts battle.
Not quite so many, though, would suggest that it could be improved by playing it on an accordion, yet this version has a certain charm all the same and makes the theme sound a little like a sea shanty. The fact that the guy is dressed up like Scorpion just seems to be the icing on the cake.
As bizarre as this is, it's also pretty entertaining, and seeing how fast YouTube user Eowad operates the bellows towards the end is actually quite impressive.
