I feel bad because I never posted on here till now. I was always about one puzzle behind the collective so my comments would've been pointless, but now that I'm done I've finally caught up. This was awesome and the escapists are awesome. Now its time to sleep.

It's funny, as I actually has just thrown it out as a guess in a previous puzzle, because a poster threw out a subtle hint that would've been blatantly obvious if it was this game, rather than what it actually was.

Have you figured out what you're actually meant to do yet? 4-1 was the hardest one for me, harder than todays. Once you figure out how to cipher, the answer is there.

NO. The colors come out wrong. Some don't come up at all. The Starcraft code does nothing. My Laptop is crap and I have no idea how to use my browser's preferences.

Well, ignoring the different colors part, did you hit ENTER before and after the Starcraft code? I kinda had to do that for mine. I don't know about browser preference issues, though.

Wow! I made it! Well, thanks to the Escapist Staff for creating what was possibly the coolest ,and most difficult, puzzles ever.
To Landslide and ThyNameIsMud, who created the puzzles and to the Nerd Queen, Susan Arendt, who cheered us on.

And, of course, to my fellow Escapists who helped me along the way. As much as I would like to say I did it on my own thanks to my huge brain, it would be bull.

Damn. Day five has been as tortuous a puzzle as I think I can take. Today's puzzle has required leaps of logic, keen attention to detail and a little guess-work to find the solution. I would have overlooked a step or two along the path if not for some of the hints provided along the way. I was able to solve many of the puzzles without assistance, but a few, such as today's, required many minds.

Congratulations to the Escapist staff. While many felt that the leap of logic required by the final puzzle was too great, I think the fact that some of us made it goes to show that the puzzle was more insidious than sloppy. Good work.
