Miracle of Sound Debuting New Mass Effect Song on BioWare TV

The crew of the Normandy is set to get a new battlecry, and just in time too.

It's almost time, guys. The machines lurk no longer in dark space; Commander Shepard has a lot do. Specifically, s/he's got to choose a battlecry, a rousing song to blare from the bow of the Normandy as it catapults itself around the galaxy in search of war and glory (and maybe some other things too). But what to choose? Never fear! Gavin Dunne, the mind and voice behind Miracle of Sound, will take to BioWare TV's livestream tonight at 8:00 p.m. PST to debut a new Mass Effect song entitled Take It Back.

You'll be able to watch the whole thing right here. In addition to showcasing the new song, which features a video created by BioWare staff, Gavin will be chatting with various team members who worked on Mass Effect 3.

Miracle of Sound has so far released two Mass Effect songs - the lyrically-diverse Commander Shepard and the bang-up epic Normandy - which address different aspects of the Commander's galaxy in different ways. What's next, I wonder?

So...midnight here.

Classes start at 7:15 in the morning...

I think I'm going to need some coffee.

So, unless my Google Search is wrong, that's 4am here in England.
...Fuck.

Damn it, I'll be picking up my copy of ME3 then! Well, I'll watch it whenever I wake up from the inevitable pass-out tonight. I played Portal 2 for 8-10 hours the night it was released, I'm already prepared for a similar run tonight.

Praise the Maker I have a later class tomorrow.

EDIT: Fuck it, it's on bandcamp now. Hell yes.

I am very VERY happy I don't have classes tomorrow.

Consider this payback for Cromwell.
And you know what game I can't wait for Gavin to make a song for?

Just listened to it, pretty damn good song, probably in the my top 10 of his songs. Of course, I had to wait through an hour and a half of random junk I didn't care about to get to it, but I had something to read, so it was worth it.

Thank you for putting it up on Bandcamp already! Loved it on the stream and just had to look if it was up. Absolutely brilliant work again!

Aaaand I just bought it on itunes and holy crap... this is good stuff! :D

I'm torn though, not sure which song I like better, "Take it Back" or "Normandy" honestly. "Take it Back" feels like we're in the final battle while "Normandy" feels like the closing of the whole story so to speak but that's just me.

I'll be checking it out with the rest of the Miracle of Sound fans from the user group this Thursday!

Just listened to it on Bandcamp. Good track, but nowhere near my favourites... who knows, maybe the fact that I'm not a big fan of the ME series plays into it a bit.
As for the BiowareTV reveal, I'd really love to see it, but it's going to be 5am over when it happens, and I just value a good night's sleep more.

Well, it`s up on YouTube o Gavin`s channel now, as well. And I have to say, i liked it a lot. The video itself was really cool, too.
So, yeah. Leave it up to Gav to not disappoint us :D
Tho a bit sad i couln`t watch it on Bioware TV, I would have loved to see what he talked with the team members.

*slow clap*
