Preorder Farming Simulator 2013, Get a Lamborghini

Focus Home Interactive has unveiled a hot new trailer and an even hotter preorder bonus for Farming Simulator 2013.

The hardest-hitting farming sim on the planet just keeps on getting better. With a bigger playable map and more places to buy equipment and sell product than ever before, Farming Simulator 2013 will let players purchase new field plots, expand their farms, diversify their crops and even build new structures like wind turbines and greenhouses.

And that's not all! Chickens and sheep join cows for the deepest and most powerful animal husbandry lineup yet, while new machines and equipment dedicated to brand-new specialty crops like sugar-beets will turn the excitement dial all the way to 11! Could the Grimme Rexor 620 be in there? Keep your fingers crossed!

Speaking of hot machinery, hardcore farming fans who preorder the game on Steam will receive an exclusive Lamborgini R6 135, described by the one and only Lamborghini Trattori as "the tractor of tomorrow, here today." I haven't been this excited since TSC rolled out its new line of 1:16 scale Massey Harris die-cast collectibles!

Farming Simulator 2013 launches worldwide for the PC on October 25, while the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions will arrive in early 2013.

NIIIIIINJJJJAAAAA'DDDDD

Guess I'll just have to be content with the Game of Thrones games I got bundled on Steam earlier today.

Got my pre-order ready! The Lamborghini will look great in a montage!

I love excuses to post this video....

and i love when people post that video, so awesome.

After all these articles I'm guessing Andy Chalk was forced to work on a farm as a child during his summer vacations or something more sinister along those lines.

Not sure is sarcasm anymore...

If it's still sarcasm it may be going a bit far now to be honest, there's a line between a joke and bullying. BUt anyway, meh, you shan't excite me with your false excitement Mr. Chalk.

I think he worked on a special farm for naughty catholic boys or something.

Andy Chalk:

Something tells me you had a bit of fun writing out this article.

Also, Why do I feel like im the only person to know that they were talking about a tractor when I saw the words "farming sim" and "Lamborghini"?

lol @ the person on the f/b thread ragingly defending the actual Farming Simulator" Fanbase".

For serious, that just makes the whole thing even more hilarious.

So, Andy, I assume you've already pre-purchased it, and will be playing the game just as ironically as you wrote this article. It'd show a real lack of class and dedication if you didn't.

(oh, and yesterday I voted for woodcutter simulator on Steam Greenlight, ironically of course, and I hope to some day see you post a full review.)

Look, Andy, I'm sorry that farming sims brutally murdered your entire family, but don't you think the sarcasm has gone a bit far?
Tbh, the first farming sim report was a bit funny, but now the sarcasm has just become tired.

This video still makes me laugh XD

And in all seriousness if it's coming to Xbox, I'm actually tempted to get it when it drops in price, just for the uniqueness of the game.

8 posts into a news thread about a farming simulator and we already got our first segway into porn. Yay internet.

On topic, kind of: Are we limited to traditional farming or are we allowed to grow... other crops... like poppies, cacao, or marijuana?

If not, I see big potential for this game in an untapped market demographic...

Due to mocking this game is immediately going on my gamefly queue. His sarcasm has actually gotten me hyped.

Could be worse, on top of it you could have got XCOM: EU, EU version, in other word it doesn't activate until Friday. =p

Please get Yahtzee to review this game (and not one of those FIFA reviews either.)

Please god yes! That would be funny as hell

I think the fanbase that buys the new sports game every year is odd, but the fanbase that buys the new farming simulator... I can't even imagine. Its like trying to understand an alien... or cthulhu.

Darn, I am starting too look forward too this game.

I am not that good at gardening, I have a black thumb. But I hail from a line of farmers. I grew up learning some of the business.

I am strongly considering getting this game too farm.

I hope so, I really hope we get too see strawberries. Crop diversity suggests this too some extent. I would like too see a farmers market.

BANANA PANIC TREES. Yes, we could have full plantations of Banana trees, Pineapple plants(?), Fruit of all sorts of shapes and colors. I am terribly happy that this game is coming out.

Yup a farm simulator game..

I know we cannot wait to buy this AAA game..we so will be in a tent at the local store 6 days before. Oh yes.

yeah! I love avoiding playing these games

That's really cool actually. I went to look that up to see what they looked like. That was lambhorghini's first vehicle, a tractor.

i still can't tell if this is for real or not...

are there really people out there excited for this???

its like the most tedious part of strategy games got its own spin-off.

*i just had to check out some videos of Farming Sim games on youtube... and it just seems to me like its less playing a game and more like fake working. Tbh it made me a little depressed, my view of gaming is a way of escaping work in a sense. I suppose since its a "simulator" its intention isn't centered on the entertainment aspects.

just not my cup o' tea. More power to those who can find enjoyment in this type of stuff. If i ever want to learn about farming i'd definitely give this sim a go.

Eh, the more realistic a farm sim is, the less fun. I'm sure there are people shooting themselves in the foot at a shot of becoming a real farmer ::eyeroll::

The appeal of Farmville was to appeal to hoarders & collectors who love collecting different versions of the same thing & decorating, secondly to people with an OCD for for leveling on as many things as possible.

Cannot wait, it seems to be a lot bigger than the last game: http://www.gamer4eva.com/2012/10/farming-simulator-2013-new-features.html

DEREK SMART'S DESKTOP COMMANDER is something I need to rewatch.

Simulators are a niche genre and a faming sim is a niche within a niche but serious the mocking and sarcasm has to stop.

I might never buy or play this, heck i tried railworks 3 only because it was in a bundle pack and i wanted to see if you can derail it ( you can and its not as exciting as it sounds) but they are still part of the gaming community, it has a fanbase and they are trying something different to the bog standard brown and grey fps

And here I thought that just for a moment it was a chance to win a real Lamborghini. Silly me.

It will never be as great as Harvest Moon and Rune Factory!

Heh, Yeah. I feel exactly the same when I see someone trying to defend Halo. Or Call of Duty.

There are people putting hard work into this game. There are other people enjoying these kinds of games.

And The Escapist is ironically (or sarcastically, whatever) "praising" this game.

Do we really need hipsters in our hobby? If the game is bad then do a review and tell us it's bad, please. But this destructive crap is just immature and dickish.
