Big Deal on the Internet

Big Deal on the Internet

If holiday shopping hasn't overwhelmed you by now, we're bringing you even more deals this week.

Typical discounts on PC digital titles are strengthened by a couple surprises: Gamefly's November coupon code is still working in December (no confirmation when it will actually expire but probably sooner than later), and after a day without a coupon (oh no!) Green Man Gaming revived their Winter Wonderland Sale over the weekend with a 30% off code (last week was 25%) that works on many popular titles, even TBA ones such as Tomb Raider and Sim City.

PS Vita owners will be happy to know that we've found 7 titles at good prices. The recently released Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is on sale at Best Buy, while the Vita port of Disgaea 3 is 25% off at Amazon.

I'm Commander Shepherd and this is my favourite deal on the Internet.

I'd never heard of these retailers and their pretty good (and consistent) deals.

Who was the first to think of digital distribution of games? Valve/Steam?

Holy shit! Company of Heros 2 comes out on the 20th! I thought it was a 2013 release.

I'm pretty sure Direct 2 drive and maybe Gamersgate existed before Steam but don't quote me on that cause I'm not even entirely sure.

Let me see if I'm getting this right.

South Park is going to release in march, and the deal won't end until next December?

as a side note gamersgate is in week 2 of their big sale. 262 games on sale at the moment as well.. between this and steam im broke

How is this a news item? This is straight off advertising.

No Playstation All Stars sale yet. *Sigh*

It will probably be a while before it goes down in price but one can hope.

Pretty much. Unless they updated the previous one, they didn't mention the Steam autumn sale at all which had some pretty awesome deals.

I recommend NOT getting port Royale 3. Its so buggy I had to contact steam for a refund.

Literally unplayable in all forms of gameplay. Even the trading is practically broken. All you need is to select a route with more than 3 cities and BAM, instant money maker. No actual thought, no real incentive other than just set it and forget it.

Even then, its incredibly shallow. You would grow tired of it quickly. This is coming from a guy who finds X3: Terran Conflict interesting.

It seems somewhat relevant (in that it's games on the cheap), and they don't seem to get a lot of press so I'll shout out that the Groupees BeMine 6 bundle is out now.

"Game titles include Ceville (PC: Steam key), Eschalon: Book I (Steam key + DRM-Free PC, Mac, Linux), Paranormal (Desura key + DRM-Free PC, Mac), Two Worlds Epic Edition GOTY + OST (Steam key), Dawn of Fantasy +OST (Desura key + Steam), Worms Reloaded (Steam key), Gorky17 (DRM-Free PC) Earth 2060 (Steam key) Also Music, and Bonus games."

Can get all that stuff for as little as $5. http://groupees.com/bm6

agreed if you showed deals from everyone in addition to Green Man Gaming then id be cool with this but...
