	The Last of Us Gets May Release Date Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic adventure is coming next spring. One of the biggest announcements from last year's Spike TV Video Game Awards was the reveal of The Last of Us, a PlayStation 3-exclusive action game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Following that tradition, another The Last of Us reveal took place at tonight's VGAs ceremony: the game's release date. After a year of having a vague 2013 window, The Last of Us now has a firm release date of May 7, 2013. The Last of Us is the story of Joel and Ellie, two survivors trying to make their way through post-apocalyptic ruins filled with people infected by a deadly fungus. The new IP from the Uncharted developer will have gunfighting and melee combat, with the father-daughter-like relationship between the two main characters being an important element of the story. Naughty Dog's next adventure was one of our favorite games of E3 2012. Hopefully the completed game can live up to our early impressions; there are only five months to go until we find out. 	Can't wait, I've been impressed by what's been shown thus far. Hope Naughty Dog keeps my attention.

	This title has looked increasingly more interesting each time I hear about it. It is a somewhat saturated formular, but if anyone can make it worthwhile, it will probably be Naughty Dog - here is to a succes on their title comming spring next year.

	...is it out yet? ...how bout now? ...now? ...........now? ................now? I am ever so excited about this game. There are not a lot of '13 games that I am excited for (though in gaming's defense, I rarely look into future games since that just leads to sadness when most of them suck) but I am giddy with excitement for this. Now I just have to wait patiently.... ....is it out yet?

	So in 2013, we're getting: -a game with a child female companion who's NOT an emotionless load to the character -a reboot of a game franchise with a female protagonist with less sexy to distract from actual personality, -a sequel to the one of the best RTS games of all time, -a successor of another legendary RTS with the scale turned up to epic proportions -a sequel to a game with one of the best stories ever written for the medium -An installment of the best city-building game ever made since its last release nine years ago. -and possibly, JUST possibly, the long awaited third game from one of the most critically acclaimed developers in gaming. EDIT: So I don't get a low content, I'd better comment on the game. Honestly, looking forward to it. Seen nothing but good stuff from it so far so I'm really happy to see it get a date.

	so far everything i've seen just looks great, and seeing how it's come from naughty dog, i love their stuff, so i doubt i will be disappointed.

	I've been a PC-only gamer for 6 or 7 years now. If this lives up to expectations, it'll be the game that gets me to buy a PS3.

No mention for Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm? :( On-topic: The footage from this game I saw was interesting but I lost all interest when I heard it was for consoles only. I don't have those, so meh.

	Foolproof: I assumed his last entry WAS The Last Guardian. I didn't click the link. Before I clicked the link I thought it was going to be Half Life episode 3 But alas no... There's also Watch Dogs but that has such a soft 2013 release I didn't want to mention it.
