GungHo has announced they're bringing Ragnarok Online to the Nintendo DS.

Little else is known about this release, scheduled for 2008. Ragnarok Online has seen a decrease in subscriptions since its release, but publishing the first massively multiplayer game for Nintendo's record breaking handheld will surely reverse that trend.

Whether or not the DS version will connect players to the full world inhabited by the game's existing user base remains an unknown at this point in time.
