South Park earns an Emmy for its World of Warcraft-inspired animated episode.
The winners of the 59th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy awards have been released, and the South Park World of Warcraft-based episode, "Make Love, Not Warcraft" that aired on Comedy Central nearly a year ago has won the Emmy for "Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour)."
The workers at Central Production who are listed as accepting the award are:

| An excellent episode which deserves its awards. It was even better than the Star Trek/Wars episode made a while back.
Southpark's been my favorite satirical anime, completely shadowing the Simpsons. |
| It was a great episode, but I don't think it should've beaten out Avatar. Perhaps an award for comedy or comic writing, but for "creative arts"? Seems strange to me. |
