| Postal Opens in 13 Theatres, Unreported Sales
Uwe Boll's Postal may have appeared in more theatres than it had viewers.
The Postal movie directed by Uwe Boll was feared to only debut on four screens nationwide. Surprisingly, Variety found that thirteen theatres debuted the controversial film.
Despite the improved distribution, Boll's production company decided to not submit Postal's box office numbers to box office tracker Rentrak. Rentrak tallies data supplied by every serious studio, and any that doesn't support the system is typically not acknowledged. The conclusion to draw from Boll's lack of reporting financial numbers: Postal likely didn't have gross revenue worth noting.

| So...De-Rez's version probably got more views than Postal?

Consider yourself lucky. |
| Is it sad that with all this negative press I want to see it to see what all the anti-hype is about? |

Think of it this way; if it sucks as badly as everyone fears, at least you can talk to your accountant about writing it off as a business expense. Industry research, y'know. I, however, will stay well away... there's tons of better movies running right now I haven't had a chance to see yet.

| The thing is, the more a film sucks, the more it risks growing a cult centers around lolz and booze. Remember that it's a critic of the American government. |
| Uwe Boll is the Jack Thompson of movies. |
| I'm slightly worried, in the last month the number of Americans as dumb as Uwe Boll has more than tripled from 4 to 13. Is this merely a blip or the start of a cult following? |
