| Ubisoft: Console Real-Time Strategy Title to be "Watershed" Game
Ubisoft's upcoming console real-time strategy title, EndWar, will be a "watershed" moment in gaming, the company claims.
Julian Geright, the company's content director, said that console users have not yet experienced a game in the genre that is truly accessible and not transferred from the PC.
"This is the first game of its type and I don't think that games on console will be made the same after EndWar," he said, adding, "It's kind of boastful, but I really do think that this is a watershed type of game."
EndWar is a game in the Tom Clancy series designed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will feature voice commands to reduce the click-fest dynamic often found in PC-based real-time strategy games.
The game is due out in October.
