My feet are feeling really cold right now. Edit: Also, I think I just came in my pants.
Dude, three words: Master of Puppets!
3 more words: Ride the Lightning. or Fade to Black.
milk that cow Activision it's your new Tony Hawk! Milk it till it runs dry
They hated Napster so I hate them
all I can say is Fuck Metallica there a buch of Sell out's that had something back in the 90's but now there jumping on the band wagon it well make Even more Popular because kids just getting in to Rock or Metal could be swayed in to licsening to this shit if any one on here wants to play good Metallica songs just download it off Xbox Live for Rock Band Witch is Far better than Gay-tar Hero (I realize this well piss alot of peaple off and this is what I have to Say) GO FUCK YOUR SELF.
You, my good sir, are an idiot.
And so the beating of the dead horse commences...
how does that make me an Idoit I hate Metallic and I think its sad what there doing to Guitar hero thats why I like Rock band Because Harmonix made it and they know what there doing and have more fun with that than Guitar Hero ************ Wow. No punctuation. Bad grammar. And a general serving of toolery. Enjoy your ban.

Next up: AC/DC, Slayer, The Beatles, Guns n' Roses Shit, these games should be downloadable for like 20$, not full price merchandise!
...Actually, one of the execs at Sony/ACV has expressed interest in bringing about a Beatles edition. And I agree they shouldn't be full priced. Which is why I'm not buying Aerosmith edition right away, nor will I buy this right away.
I'm alright with them beating the horse, as long as they beat it in the Metallica, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin areas of its corpse. Besides that, I'm staying away from that horse.
Can somebody please explain this 'milking' concept to me, in regards to the Guitar Hero line of games?
A Metallica Guitar Hero game? FINALLY a game I can get my girlfriend to play! You know, I wonder if you can unlock different versions of the band throughout the years. That would own so hard. I also can't wait for the special Guitar Hero guitar they'll release with the game. Oh, I'm excited.
LOL to the ban and yay to the game keep teh milks coming activision, you need another cash cow after tony hawks got killed
I don't understand why they don't just put the songs up as downloads instead of launching a new game. Guitar Hero (for the xbox 360) hardly uses the download feature as it is.
Metallica sucks in fact. In my opinion...
Its perfect - the perfect fusion of form and substance. Two has-beens well past their prime who made a sloppy attempt and suffered for it, and are locked in a battle with someone who they let go, who is better than them at everything (including sex, as Kirk found out) and they are desperately trying to imitate. In case you can't tell, I'm more of a Megadeth and Rock Band fan.
Cause then you wouldn't have to pay $100 for 1 song you like.
OMFG A IRON MAIDEN ONE AND I WOULD ACTUALLY TRY GUITAR HERO!!!
I dunno if even the great gods of Maiden could make me trust Guitar Hero. Then again, they are Iron Maiden - would they let those guys anywhere near their songs now?
just put the songs in the freakin' DLC! I'm tired of seeing Activation milking the creativity out of Guitar Hero. When it first came out, I'm like,"cool, a game that lets me feel like a rock star." And now they just sell the same thing over and over. What's next?

oops sry for triple posting
Yeah I guess having some muppets that look like Aerosmith and Metallica really make all the difference in peoples purchases.
And here i was thinking Guitar Hero was an Activision game, not EA..
the term was meant as an expression, not to be taken literally.
Now that I re-read the article and see the typo, I can't help but wonder if Guitar Hero: Aerosith wouldn't be the best video game ever. Rock ballads and lightsaber battles? Sign me up!
I came. I'm not a big fan of music games, but I came really, really hard.
Well that has major psychological problems written all over it. I'm afraid to show you the Ronnie Johns clips for fear of you imploding.
I see they are using the Resident Evil method.
DLC doesn't give you the experience of play Metallica, but buying another GH expansion does? God, Activision must like it's milk. And by that, I mean stupid people's and fanboy's money.
They may be dragging the series out and corrupting it a bit. BUT IT'S FCKING METALLICA!!!
A led Zepplin and an Iron Maiden one wouldn't be too bad. Come on, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son? Can I play With Madness? But Metallica? Ew.....

Metallica Getting Its Own Guitar Hero
Metallica will become the second band to get its own Guitar Hero game, according to an Activision SEC filing.
With less than a month before the release of Guitar Hero: Aeromsith, Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Edward Woo has discovered plans for a Metallica-centric version of the game in Activision's 10-K SEC filing from May 30. According to the filing, the Metallica Hero would be released before March 31, 2009 (the end of Activision's fiscal year).
The filing reads, "In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms."
