| Resistance Developer Expands to East Coast
Resistance: Fall of Man developer Insomniac Games is expanding eastward and opening offices in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
The new studio, set to open in January 2009, will "focus on developing both current and new intellectual property," according to Insomniac founder Ted Price.
Art Director Chad Dezern will lead the new location, dubbed Insomniac Games, while Resistance 2 single player Lead Programmer Shaun McCabe will be production director.
We at The Escapist would like to welcome Insomniac to our little neck of the woods. We'll be waiting at your front door with a basket of muffins come January. Not in a stalkerish way, though, we swear.
