E3 2008: Online Co-op in Resident Evil 5

Online co-op in Resident Evil 5 is hot. Stupid amounts of hot.

I'm sitting in the Microsoft press conference - more on that later - but I just had to take a moment to tell you that the online co-op mode looks utterly fantastic. This is the first time the series is available on Xbox 360 and Capcom is clearly making it count.

The game's release date has also been announced: Friday the 13th, March 2009 in a simultaneous worldwide release.

Can't friggin' wait.

At least it will have the same release date worldwide, and March actually seems closer than I expected it to be released. I doubt that many of my friends will get this game so will Shiva be controlled by an AI? I prefer to have some cold hard 1's and 0's helping me than an actual person when I'm sure they wont die or get scared by Sadsack chain-sawing their head off.
