Ubisoft has announced that North American gamers who pre-order the new Prince of Persia title will receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition release of the game.
The Prince of Persia Limited Edition will include special "collectible" packaging, a mini-strategy guide from Prima, a digital art book that follows the game from early concepts to its showing at E3 2008, a "Making Of" special, the original soundtrack by Inon Zur and more. Ubisoft has also teamed with Penny Arcade to produce a 32-page comic book that details the Prince's story in a "robust, illustrative format," including an "enhanced understanding as to the relationship between Elika and the Prince."
The new Prince of Persia game is the second "reboot" of the series since its debut in 1989. The 2008 edition of the game will feature new play styles and a completely different art direction, and is not to be confused with the videogame version of the Prince of Persia movie, slated for release in 2010, which is based on the 2003 videogame, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Prince of Persia is scheduled for release in time for Christmas 2008 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Nicer beaches. |

Side Note: Where does Prince of Persia 3D fall into place or was that just ignored? |

Yeh, contrary to popular belief, not all Australians visit the beach 24/7... I find beaches boring as hell and would rather get my games. Also, don't you Yanks have beaches too?
On topic: hey, at least we Aussies are getting this game... |
