Gone Gonzo Posts: 2583 Joined: 27 Sep 2008 | I was happy to ignore them and let them do their thing, but these days they disgust me. It's the double standards where to kill turkeys or whatever is bad, but letting animals live in zoos is as bad and they should be killed rather than be tainted by humans. Idiots. |

I rescued a pregnant cat from dying of hunger in the streets, ergo I am worse than Hitler, even though now she is all cuddles and purrs and she and her daughter are the cleanest little furrballs I have ever met... |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2768 Joined: 18 Sep 2007 | I had roast beef for lunch; tonight there's a nice 3/4" sirloin in the fridge ready. (Pan fried (as I don't have a grill) in Montreal Steak Spice to medium rare doneness, with baked potato and butter, steamed broccoli, and kernal corn. Mmmmm...) Next on my list, donate money to the nearest helper animal charity or pet shelter. Suck it, PETA. -- Steve |

This, oh so much this. Either that or get a wild animal to eat PETA. I had a ham sandwich while playing the game, wasn't phased, but it seems sort of odd that putting meat in the oven gave the turkey boils, but it's PETA, I didn't expect them to do any research beforehand. |

Seems like an easy way to make a bit of extra cash as a college kid to me. Take the offer, spend five minutes at the protest site with a sign and then excuse yourself to attend a previously arranged engagement. |

Yeah. I hate PETA too. I don't get why they don't want people to have pets. What would all the pets eat if they were set loose? We give them food, shelter, and warmth. Imagine what would happen if we let all dogs and cats, fish and birds, and all out pets go? Most would probably die pretty soon and most, mine at least, would come back home within a day or two. Yeah. We just need another organization like PETA and that will show 'em. User was banned for: Poll: Round 5 - Field of Four - (1) Turbine vs (1) Nintendo. (Permanent) |

That's gotten me hungry for some real peta bread. Either with cheese or chicken in the pocket, I don't really care I just want some peta! I found this game halarious, me and my friend even put it up as his wallpaper. This game doesn't seem to be putting up the message they'd hope for did it? |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 623 Joined: 28 Jul 2008 | As for myself I'd love to drown them in their buckets of pig blood (see the South Park episode "Douch and Turd") and let some starved combat dogs at them. Chainsaws will make their slaughter even cooler... |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1293 Joined: 29 Jan 2008 | Come on, your creative solutions for getting rid of PETA aren't evil enough; assuming you're all meat-eating fascists (at least in PETA's eyes you are), you can do much better. I'm personally all in favour of killing PETA executives by means of asphyxia(sp)....caused by force-feeding them veal. I want them to suffer by knowing that their means of death suffered before it was fed to them, making them suffer. EDIT: and boy am I really tempted to make a retalitory game to this. Something along the lines of showing how PETA is full of crap by imitating GTA. |

Beat Writer Posts: 176 Joined: 25 Apr 2008 | I do support the idea of more humane treatment of animals. I support my local SPCA and some local shelters, and I'd really like the farm industry to find ways to treat their critters better. Just because I'm going to eat the things doesn't mean I feel it's right to torture them. However, PETA goes way too far. They are one step below eco-terrorists, and may even actually have crossed that line in the past. Besides, anyone who is against my keeping my beloved pets is not my friend. I don't know why the object to pets, but mine are well cared for, fed properly, get regular medical attention and receive lots of affection. If that doesn't suit their holier-than-thou opinions, PETA can go to hell. |

While I don't really count 'saving the animals' as one of my priorities, I do agree that since many countries are now rich enough to sustain growth with free-range farms, more people should make the conversion. |

I know right? my pets are better friends than most of the people I know. They get medical attention, food, shelter, love and other pets to pal around with. They love me, I love them. fuck PeTA. |

this made me laugh and think them more batshit crazy seriously they do kill the cows AFTER they have lived to their fullest a.k.a as big as they can be and the rest is them being old and in pain from age I mean what is there for the cows to live for if they dont get killed to help humans live and be givin food everyday have calves and such nothing they could do that wouldnt be worse then a farm except be eaten by wolves have their calves eaten by wolves and be eaten by wolves and not die quick it would most likely suck out in the wild they have room they have kids they get fed what could they do better? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4928 Joined: 10 Jan 2009 | This isn't a suprise, is it? I've heard about this for awhile now. There was a big flap with Nintendo/PETA over losing face due to brand recognition... Or perhaps that was something else. All I remember is that some veggie-lovers were hatin' on Mama. |

Yep, totally agree with that one. Not that I had much respect for them in the first place. And the game actually amused me for a few minutes, so their point was completely lost on me. |

PETS?!?! I have two pet rats and one of them is blind (she's an albino, so she was born that way), do PETA want me to release them into the wild, where they'll probably get eaten by next door's cat? These people are ridiculous and I've never subscribed to their somewhat hardcore ideals. Until I read this thread, I never realised just how insane they were. EDIT: Sorry everyone, not quite sure what I did there. Damn new-fangled technological devices... |

Grrr. I hate PETA. I was so mad after playing this that I had to go out and smoke...a ham....out of spite. PETA not only wants zoo animals released into the wild, they also do not want people to have pets. Yeah, pets. So next time you pet owners feel like donating, save the money and buy filet mignon.
But I'm willing to make peace with PETA. I believe that there is a place for all God's creatures on this Earth....usually next to the mashed potatoes.
