HaHaHa lol oh that's good, that's reeeeeeeeal good
Holy shit that is amazing.
That's pretty damn impressive. Imagine how many tries that must have taken.
Way too much time on their hands... 'twas awesome though...
sweet | |
Cool. I liked it. :P Still won't buy guitar hero though.
Ne'er was there a bigger curiositee, than a felloe with too much tyme that is frie.
That. Was. Fantastic. | |
Bike hero did blow my mind. I won't lie.
i don't understand.. he just has to keep up w/ the tempo.. the track is interesting, but the lights are pre programmed to hit the notes he just has to keep up. It's kinda neat.. but i don't understand whats SOOOOOO kool. He even misses some of the notes from the perspective.. and as i said, the lights are clearly just programmed to go on as he goes in time w/ the music.. i guess he would have had to practice the speed at which he went.. but it seemed constant and smooth. /sigh i guess i'm just not kool enough to understand the awesomeness of the bike hero.
Looks like bluescreen to me.
Nerd? I'll SHOW you nerd.
Ha, that's awesome. | |
Seems like I'm not the only one who thought this was utterly stupid.
Saw it already. Found it kinds cool. Seen cooler things (Anything by Monty Oum, for example).
thats crazy! | |
It was good. Not the best but pretty good I guess
There's going to be some really confused coppers in the morning.
I like how he nearly hits the car, would've sucked to go that far and fail that badly. I take it some people don't realise that the colour dots on the floor were cgi placed in and the person didn't have to ride at the exact same tempo.
That was so freaking wicked.
Sadly...I agree with this as well. Nothing spectacular...
This is why bikes > most anything else. My eyes are doing the trailing thing that happens after I play a song on Guitar Hero, too. Good job, guys!
I will be perfectly honest here. The Hero series needs to DIE. That said I applaud the kid for creativity.
Ah, but I reckon the two or three points that he looks away from his direction of travel are disconnects- he looks away just before he goes across the road. Basically, there's no-way it was a single take. There's enough points just before difficult bits for them to take a couple of goes and edit together the best. It's still good, mind.
Well, yeah, it's obvious the lights are pre-programmed and the actual bike riding wouldn't be difficult, he could just have the song playing on headphones to keep pace. It sounds like you're unimpressed because this wouldn't be hard to do (though it would be time consuming). Something doesn't have to be difficult to be cool and creative. That being said, it would be a real bummer if the ad agency used CGI for any of it. It looked real enough to me, but who knows...
That may have been the coolest bike-guitar hero related stunt shot at night I have ever seen!
Regardless of whether CGI was/were used, the video is truly impressive. A shorter track for a 30-60 second commercial would be one of the best advertisements I'd ever see. All in all, this is one of the best (or at least original for all you naysayers) videos I've ever seen.
Woah.. woah.. i never said i thought it was utterly stupid.. just that i was not seeing what was so amazing about it.
It was viral marketing. Still pretty cool, but it's corporate.
Lame. Come on man I was busy working when I read the words "STOP WHAT YOUR DOING, YOU GOTTA SEE THIS". You can't just use the phrase over every youtube video, this stuff has to be epic.
Yes this is an example of people with too much time on there hands but it was awesome none the less I mean I don't really know anyone that'd put that much time into something. It made my day.
That's pretty cool. I liked how the rider put up his hands for note streaks.
i think he has Alot of Spare time.. but well freaking done
Man that's 31 flavors of awesome.

Bike Hero Will Blow Your Mind
I don't care what you're doing, you need to stop, right now, and watch this video.
There's not much I can say about this. Superlatives are inadequate. Words simply cannot do justice to the sheer genius contained herein. Is it the coolest thing that's possibly ever happened to Guitar Hero? Is it crazy teenagers with way too much time on their hands? Is it possibly some form of viral marketing video? It is the most utterly awesome thing you're likely to see all day?
Yes. Now watch.
Update: Yeah, it's a viral, created for Activision by ad agency Droga5. But does it really matter? It's still awesome as hell.
Thanks to GameCyte for keepin' it real.
