Paperboy Posts: 39 Joined: 7 Jan 2009 | maybe he used a ps2 steering wheel and look at parent ages how much of a bloody age difference? |

("There was an outstanding court order that the children not be left with the mother alone because she had some previous issues," Sheriff Wilkins said. - Source: Yahoo/Sky News) That in itself doesn't make her at fault for what happened, but it bloody well doesn't help her look any better. |

And we're saying "what the hell was he doing playing GTA?" Doesn't that sort of reinforce the stereotype that video games make you crazy? 'Cause, you know, we're sort of admitting it? Either way, thank god the kid's alive or I wouldn't be able to say that I laughed out loud to this! |

No were saying that a 6 year old shouldn't be playing an R18 game, we are mature, we know what age ratings mean, a kid isn't going to grow up good if he's playing content not meant for his age group. would you let a 6 year old watch Gorn? don't think so. I wouldn't let my kid play GTA4, not until he understood the difference between real life and video games. That's how my parents raised me and I turned out fine, and I have ADHD. |
Paperboy Posts: 39 Joined: 7 Jan 2009 | this is why most parents which give a toss do stuff like make sure children don`t watch bad stuff or play games like GTA or Driver 3 And sometimes even little games like Crazy Taxi! My freinds brother was told not to play crazy taxi as he kept talking about crashing cars! O_O still the child has to be disiplined and His games shouldbt be over 7+ anyway! |
Paperboy Posts: 35 Joined: 10 Sep 2008 | His parents had nothing to do with the crime. The boy should be punished for: 1.Theft of the car. 2.Driving without a license. 3.Endangering those on the road Why the parents are being charged when this child is clearly the guilty party? What does his brother have to do with this anyway? I can imagine putting him in to custody to protect his family and others from this dangerous behavior (hence "protective custody") but why put his brother in there too? Was the brother suspected of conspiracy to the theft? |

Blue Sonnet covers it well
The child can't be charged because of his age, I believe. |

Damn, I heard this on my School Bus's radio on my way back from PE! Made us all laugh, then feel sad.
