Calling in a price drop on Titanfall.

Been waiting for a price drop on Titanfall before giving the game a shot? Well, for today only, the Xbox One and PC versions of Titanfall have their prices slashed by $15 down to $45 with your choice of free shipping or free store pickup. The discount makes the lowest prices ever for both platforms, and at an interesting time -- Titanfall just released today for the Xbox 360 at $59.99 everywhere, even at Best Buy.

For those who already own Titanfall on the PC, its Season Pass price dropped 20% at GMG. This is the first discount spotted on the Season Pass since it became available for pre-order. The Season Pass will get you 3 DLCs for Titanfall for a $24.99 total. Each would otherwise cost you $10 if purchased separately upon release. What's more, with the aforementioned discount, the Season Pass drops to $20, saving you 33% off what you'd normally eventually pay. The first "Drop Pod" DLC releases this Spring, the following DLC will release in the Summer, and final one will debut in the Fall.

Lastly, if you couldn't get enough of the LEGO: LOTR titles, LEGO: The Hobbit is now available in North America. The PC version is already eligible for a $3 instant savings discount and another stacking 20% off coupon. The dual discounts slash the price from $29.99 to $21.60 - a solid 28% discount for LEGO and LOTR fans.

Okay, this is just a straight-up ad. What the heck, guys? All pretense of journalism dropping?

Not enough of us stopped using The Program That Shall Not Be Named, and Captcha isn't doing enough. New methods must be found.

Snark aside, lets play Good Idea, Bad Idea. Good Idea: Respond to the main complaint about your game by lowering it's cost to something reasonable. Bad Idea: Only do this for One day, at one outlet, while charging full price everywhere else.

Nope. I've been waiting for an Origin drop. I don't even care if it's on Steam or not; release a stand-alone version for all I care. I just refuse to buy the game while it's Origin-exclusive.

The Steam Store begs to differ...

This is an ad, plain and simple.

I'm not even using adblock and they're ramming this stuff down my throat.
