Well, that's one "yay" for the day. I can go on living.

I completed the original in a day, loved it, loved it, loved it!

My wife is so excited about this its one of her all time favourite games.

Weren't the goblins(?) sealed away in Repugia at the end of the first game? I wonder if they'll be coming back somehow or if there is a new villain.

Oh nuts. That was my favorite part about combat in the original, the fact you didn't need to heal up after every encounter and healers weren't needed for most combats.

From what I saw, it seems like Double Fine is really trying to find the perfect balance between accessible and challenging combat. I absolutely loved the first game but thought it was on the easy side, so I was happy to hear about the persistent health.

Also, the clown's special attack heals the party and is hilarious, so this might actually encourage you to explore moves and characters you wouldn't have used before. I know I'm excited to try all the different costumes and not just stick to a few favorites.
