Destiny Beta Code Giveaway

Destiny 09

We are giving away more than our fair share of Beta Codes for Destiny, make sure you get one.

Over the course of the next few days we are going to be giving away a plethora of Beta Codes for the upcoming Bungie game Destiny. This shooter from the studio that brought you Halo is all about a science-fantasy romp in the far future, where humanity is embattled on all sides by alien menaces.

Thanks to Bungie, we're going to be giving away Destiny Beta Codes through a wide variety of ways, you will be able to find them throughout the site. Don't miss ENN, because there could be a code or two in that video. Do you frequent our Forums? You should, because we may, and will, be giving away codes in a variety of threads. But wait, there's more! You'll be able to find Destiny Beta Codes throughout every facet of the site, they're everywhere.

Once you find a Destiny Beta Code it's so easy to get signed up that is should be criminal.

  • Go to http://bungie.net/beta and follow the instructions. You must have a valid Bungie.net account, so if you do not already have an account, you must create one
  • After you create or sign-in to your Bungie.net account, you will be asked to verify your email address before entering your 9 digit Destiny Beta code
  • Once you have redeemed your Beta code, your account will be approved for Beta access
  • Starting July 10, you must visit your account profile page on Bungie.net to select the platform of your choice
  • Shortly before the Beta begins for the platform of your choice (July 17 for PlayStation systems; July 23 for Xbox systems), Bungie will email you your Destiny Beta code - your Destiny Beta code will also be visible via your Bungie.net Account Profile/Redeemed Codes page, secured behind your login credentials

Happy hunting and we hope to see you in the Destiny Beta.

Very clever. Making sure that the people who really want beta codes use all areas of the site more often.

Unfortunately I only check in on the forums and such rarely, and will likely never be the first person to get to any of these codes. Ah well.

Good luck, folks.

If you get a beta code, do you have to get PSN+ to use it, as it is a multiplayer game? Or the Xbox equivalent?

You didn't need it for the alpha,
Only the multiplayer PVP and Strike missions (co op) are ps+ required, all story content and exploration is there.

Very cool, Escapist. I already got myself a beta spot reserved but it'd be cool to get another code for a friend. If there's that many codes to spare.

Time to start looking!

I love it! Hope I can find one!

An easter egg hunt? Okay, THIS is how you do these things, not that "first come first serve" bullshit.

This sounds fun, I'm definitely going to give it a go. Don't know how good I'll be at it, but what the hey.

You can redeem your beta code for the platform of your choice!

An easter-egg hunt is infinitely more interesting than whoring out your twitter account to Lockerdome, so I'm in.

New to the site, awesome idea and great site. I must be blind though because I've looked around here for what seems like hours and have not seen a beta code at all. Help out the new guy :)

Hello I am new on this site too. I am wondering how to find those beta codes, are there randomly shown on site?

If you guys are lazy you can just order on Amazon and cancel, they email it immediately but don't charge your credit card until it ships.

Certainly not lazy, been looking all around the site to find a code and just haven't found one yet. Will just keep looking. Thanks for the kind advice there DJ Chapman.

Can we get any hints towards where to look?
