Things We Need: This Awesome Nerf Gun Go-Kart

This incredibly awesome Nerf go-kart is something I wish existed when I was a kid.

Kids these days have some pretty awesome toys. Case in point: this incredible Nerf go-kart that finally lets you go all Mad Max in a safe, foam dart environment.

The Nerf Battle Racer Ride On is a pedal powered monstrosity has plenty of space for your Nerf arsenal. Two compartments in the front are designed to accommodate a pair of blasters, while backup ammo can be stored in between. When that runs out, the driver can reach behind the seat and access additional weapons stored in a pair of slings behind the driver's seat. You can even toss a handful of ammo into a little holster next to the seat.

Behold the Battle Racer in all its glory:

Before you throw your money at your computer screen, you should know that the Battle Racer is not yet available in US stores, and the list price on Amazon is currently $670. It's a lot of money for what amounts to a pedal cart with gun holsters.

When it does officially hit stores this month, it will retail for just $300, which is a little more reasonable.

Is there an adult sized version? A friend of mine needs to know, for science.

Why not just duct-tape a gun to the dash of a lawnmower? Everyone's a winner!

Oh shit! That kid is packing cold-ass heat!!

Other than that, I now want to see kids doing Nerf drive-bys...

This would be awesome if you didnt know it probably will cost you a gold encrusted arm and leg.

holy price gouge! that is crazy for the amazon price, fuckkkkk that.

neat I suppose though.

It's My Li'l War Boy starter kit! WITNESS!

Meh. $200-$470 for some extra plastic to hold Nerf stuff. The Amazon listing doesn't even say it comes with any Nerf guns or darts.

I would just buy decent pedal karts for my kids, weld on some boxes and gun brackets, and use the money saved to increase their foam armory. (Then, I'd get carried away and paint flames on the carts and maybe add nose art or pin-up girls when the missus isn't looking. Maybe it's a good thing I don't have kids yet.)

yeah, i prefer my area of engagement to be riddled with at least as many holdout caches as furiosa's tanker, and this isn't delivering at over 600 dollars
