The book is an "overhaul" of the original Breaking the Mold art book, which 2K gave away to gamers in digital format after being unable to include it as a "real" book with the BioShock Collector's Edition. Breaking the Mold: Developer's Edition will be an 8"x10" softcover with 174 pages of new art, developer commentary, stories of the game's history and much more. I don't want to come off as too much of a 2K shill here but it sounds to me like this thing is treading very close to "must-have" territory for serious BioShock fans.
The book was actually announced last year but 2K is only now ready to start taking your money. Gamers who preorder the book for $24.99 in the next three weeks will receive free shipping anywhere in the world.
