Trying to do a movie based on something like "Monster Hunter Freedom" where there is minimal plot (it's all a hunting based RPG simulation). |

Would be amazing!! As long as they kept the 1987 ray-bans. The mere thought of a Battletoads movie scares me to death. |

I'm contemplating doing a "Kingdom of Loathing: The Movie" in the same style. Or maybe something from The Orange Box, lol. Back to the subject at hand: Diablo would be crap. So would most other RPGs. Don't even get me started on WoW. Any racers or sports games wouldn't work. What else is there... Worms. ...Wait a minute... OMG, that could be win as well. |

LOL They could probably make a horrid jab at assassins creed. Also, for an april fools joke they were going to make a Zelda: Hero of Time movie. |

So i dont see why Madden would be any different. Some rookie upcoming star gets drafted, trains his heart out, plays a couple of big games and eventually plays in the super bowl. While in the background another story could be evolving, like his relationship with his parents, or a story where he doesnt feel in control of his life ( being controlled by the player after all ), where he is a victim of his own talents. So yeah i dunno that it would be a great movie, but doesnt sound so bad. |

I actually think that as series Halo COULD potentially be a really good movie trilogy... it's just that Hollywood would mishandle it, fuck it up and just make it a story about humans killing evil aliens without any of the depth and complexity of the actual trilogy (if Halo Wars was any indication). Games that wouldn't make good movies: You know what the one game that would make an awful movie... Left 4 Dead. it's would just be a zombie movie, nothing unique. The only way to make it interesting would be to have Zoey ridicule the cliches in zombie movies. And Hollywood would still mess her character up and cast some big boobed lass instead of a normal looking girl. |

I'm looking forward to the Metal Gear Solid movie, it was practically and playable movie to begin with so it shouldn't be to hard, just do what they did with watchmen and make it frame for frame (yes I am aware that watchmen was a graphic novel not a game) in live action. |

I'm curious to see how you'ld see Cooking Mama play out as a good movie... Personally I'ld say Kingdom Hearts, its extremely confusing and full of silly Disney characters already. There would be no saving that. |

I liked Halo at first. After Halo 3 I'm sick of it. The story wasn't THAT great, and how would they have to do those special effects in a movie? (In the case the entire film isn't computer animated.) |

As for Guitar Hero, I think it could work if it played out like Rock Star, where a guy from a tribute band ends up singing for his favourite band. It could start off with a guitar player joining a small time cover band, then they start to make it bigger until they end up opening for a big band (Maiden, Metallica etc) and at the end one of their guitarists falls ill and he has to play with them as a stand in. It's a fairly simplistic plot, but if they brought in some humour, some Spinal Tap like antics, it could be fun. |

Nonsense. I saw SkiFree and I laughed the whole time. John Cusack not only bested the rich kid, he outran the Yeti for a really, really long time.
