I just finished replaying The Darkness for the umpteenth time. The game itself is pretty fun, but the lip synchronization is absolutely terrible. It was as if I was watching English Dubbed Anime, only it wasn't Anime, it WAS THE MOTHERFUCKING DARKNESS!

That brings me to my question, in your opinion, what video game has the worst lip sync imaginable? I'm talking ABSOLUTE WORST.

PACMAN!

Not much conversation here but still... most games today do a confortable job of making the lips sync with the voice but one in particular has to go to Clive Barker's Jericho. One of them spoke soooo out of turn with his voice it was actually funny to watch.

Ive seen some pretty bad stuff, but a mate of mine did one for media studies a while back, it was shocking

Mercenaries 2. Fun game, but watching Fiona talk without even opening her mouth was horrific.

Why? Why? WHY? HAVE NONE OF YOU SAID WARCRAFT 3!!!

Once my Kotor game glitched and none of the people moved their mouths. But otherwise nothing too bad.

Any sonic 3-D game.

I personally saw Sonic Adventure DX to be much worse. I mean, it wasn't just lips...it was the whole damn face...and they were always doing squats...

I never found that clip annoying or any proof. In the heat of anger of frustration (especially in an argument), it's quite common for people to speak over each other. =]

Also, Dawn of War II's lip synching is god awful! It's like they're puppets!

You've got a good point there. However, the audio also clips in other scenes where it's inappropriate, and the Japanese voices sync like they should. So it was probably a legitimate issue and not method acting.
